Clothing Hireling Not Sending Level 8 Materials

Has anyone else encountered the problem of upgrading to Tailoring Level 8 (silver weave and superb hide) and the Hireling does not send any relevant materials? I have received four Hireling materials since upgrading to Tailoring Level 8 and all I receive are items like Embroidery or crafting stones like Starmetal. Is this a widespread problem or a local one? My Blacksmithing and Woodworking Hirelings are sending me Level 8 mats but not the Clothing Hireling.

How long have this occured? They do not send he same amount every time, must be a little lucky to get the stuff you want.

I upgraded to Level 8 on Sunday and I have received 4 chests so far with the 3/3 Hireling perk. I should always receive silver weave or superb hide with everything else being a bonus. I am only receiving the bonus items and not the base materials, which is a problem.

Ok, might be unlucky or bug.

I have 9 and recieve the last craft materials most of the times.

If my next emailed chest doesn't contain any mats, I will log a bug. I am just glad I am still a few days away from reaching VR7 which is the minimum entry requirement for this gear so I don't have an urgent need for it. Hopefully I am just experiencing some bad luck.

I've already bug reported this. I upgraded to 8 about 7 days ago, and all I get are trait and racial stones and upgrade mats, I have not received ANY clothing mats in approx. the last 14 chests! (Since I'm 3/3 and get 2 per day).

This is a big problem, as finding these nodes to harvest in the real world is much harder than lower level nodes.

Thank you for that confirmation. I will log a bug as well and hope the Craglorn patch fixes it. Have you upgraded to the Level 9 tier yet? If so, does it work? If it does work, I may upgrade and start stockpiling those mats which I will need more of anyway.

Well, it's now 15 August and this is STILL a problem. 3 months and no fix - COME ON!!! How hard can it be???

I've recently got to vet7 and upped my tailor and smith accordingly. Smith hireling works just great. Tailoring - hopeless. Need to fire her and get someone else. Good help is hard to find.

I now need superb hide - hireling has never sent this just some other stuff and the shipments have been getting less and less lately. To my surprise in todays mail the usual speech and... nothing - not one single item attacked. WTF?

It wouldn't be so bad if I could get superb hide off of animals in the zone I'm in, but no - everything is vet6 so only iron hide is available. There's plenty of quicksilver ore and silverweed growing everywhere but no superb hide in this entire zone. So I need my hireling to work for me - which they are not.

Sent a /bug - only to find it's a "known issue". Now I see it's been a "known issue" since May (3 months) WTF???!! Fix it now pleeeease!

Guildstores are the simple answer.
Especially now with the Kiosks.

Every time I first enter a crafting Tier (no real saved up materials) I buy 50-100 refined materials from a Guildstore. That way I can quickly enter that crafting tier and for all further crating needs I propably saved some materials on till then.
I have done so since reaching 15-16 in glenumbra (with 14 being the top level you can craft with 1st Tier materials).
I repeated this ever since.

I had the same problem and now that you say it I remember it was level 8 cloth since I didnt have yet the skill to lv9. After I respecced I stopped at lv 3 and began to receive raw mats again. They also said known issue; that I had to submit a bug ticket etc

I can also confirm that level 8 clothing does not receive are not raw clothing material.
I have 6 level clothing 8 alts with level 3 hirelings and have not received 1 mail of mats.
I have 2 level 9 clothiers with level 3 hirelings and they get void cloth.

I too have been having this same issue with level 8 - didn't connect it to the level, thought it was related to patch 1.3, must have upgraded around then. I have not received a single clothing raw material since then, and have had at least 3 mails with NO mats AT ALL. 3/3 hireling and 8/9 tailoring.

@ZoS_GinaBruno Can we have this looked at? The original post is from May. Then we have a batch of reports from August. I hit Level 8 a few days ago. Got mail with racial/trait mats, but no raw mats, and now two days straight, got the email with NOTHING attached. (And, yes, the first one I did an in-game bug report. The second, I came here looking for reports, or starting a thread.)
