On the cooldown topic, does anyone know if the item set cooldowns are independent of each other?
For example, the Ashen Grip set and the Red Mountain set.
The default cooldown is 4 seconds.
It can be lowered with a certain trait (infused iirc).
On critical hits they apply special effects depending on the type. (Fire deals increased fire dmg, and ignites the target, causing a 3 tick burn DoT).
Where do you get that number of 4s?The default cooldown is 4 seconds.

It is fairly long and does make weapon enchantments a bit weak, but on the bright side they can also do more damage then they state: On critical hits they apply special effects depending on the type. (Fire deals increased fire dmg, and ignites the target, causing a 3 tick burn DoT).

I was told by a guildie that they are independent, though I have not tested it. If someone could confirm it that would be lovely.

How does this 4 second cooldown work with the Weapons Enchantments that give something every y seconds. For example, "Increases Power by X every Y seconds" or "Grants a X point damage shield every Y seconds". It seems clear, these trigger every Y seconds (6 seconds on the ones I have), but how long does the effect last?

I swear one time my Restoration Staff of Frost hit an imp and turned it into a pile of... snow? ice crystals? I had wondered about that but possibly this could have been it (critical hit that resulted in a kill).
