Shadowsilk Gem disappearing, and should quest disguise be removed upon completion of the quest?

If you don't already know, this is a quest item (Goblin's affection quest), that can disguise you as a goblin. So dev says this item supposed to disappearing after the quest, and they intend to "fix" the "bug" that allows you to keep it.

But I am sure many many players would love to have more possible disguise, rather than losing them after each quest.

And why is that other items, such as the one transforms player into a skeleton, get to stay?

Can we ask devs not to "fix" this "BUG"?

Yep, that item is too cool for being considered a bug

On my first character it disappeared and on my alt it didn't. I think it was because the first time I had it equipped, but since it was a lot of time ago I'm not so sure (that this is the cause, but i'm sure it disappeared, just to be clear ^^)

This is a quest I find it better not to complete because completing it means losing the disguise. I will never complete it again.

Losing the amazing disguise to get a junk item and a little exp isn't worth it.

Instead of fixing the disguises, why don't they make it so that the Trophies you were while questing don't take up bank or inventory space !!

They should not remove the coolest disguise in the game they should rather fix the glitches and bugs with it. Goblin and skeletons are the only 2 cool disguises imo and goblin win by a mile over skeleton

The Shadowsilk Gem wasn't originally part of this quest - initially the quest giver just cast a spell to make you look like a goblin (or at least that's what happened with the first character I did that quest on - subsequent characters have received the gem). The gem was added later, and I believe it was originally intended as a temporary fix to a bug that sometimes occurred with the quest.

At any rate, it's been confirmed that any fix will not remove existing Shadowsilk Gems, even if they do make it so that it disappears on completion of the quest.

That's pretty much the exact opposite of what they said.
