Item Sets

Is there any future plan for being able to craft jewelry? It would be nice to be able to craft jewelry as part of craftable item sets.

But while I'm at it, what are the best item sets for Stamina based and Magicka based characters?

I need a 4-piece set and a 5-piece set combination between the 7 armor slots and my 2 dual wield slots. Was just thinking it would be nice to have 12 items that could count to a craftable set instead of just 9.

There are plans, but there have been plans in the works since beta testing. So we have no idea when it will happen.

Off the top of my Head, 5 Hundings Rage, 4 Seducer.

However I pick my crafted sets based on what I am either running out of or need more of based on how I play. I also think that 5 Vampires Kiss and 4 Song of Lamae make a good set too. It all depends on what you want, and what Soft Caps you have reached. Remember, to evaluate your base character properly, unequip everything and see what your base stats are. Then see what the difference is with the equipment you have, then plan the crafted set based on what your not getting enough of and what you have already as a base.

That's not a bad idea @Nestor. Right now I'm running Night's Silence. Switched to it from Hunding's Rage to try it out. It's okay, but I figured I needed to do more.

Can anyone confirm if this ESO Sets Site List is up to date?

If so, are the 8 trait sets listed at the bottom of the page (Way of the Arena, Oblivion's Foe, Spectre's Eye, Kagrenac's Hope, Orgnum's Scales, Eyes of Mara, & Shalidor's Curse) the end-game sets from Craglorn?

If so, I find these to be completely unbalanced. 13 Health affects, 10 Magicka affects, and 2 Stamina affects. 2.

    That's jacked up.

It looks to be up to date from what I can tell. In general the 8 trait sets are not spectacular. I think far more people use the 2-6 trait sets than the 8.

If they do add Jewel crafting (which would probably come after the 100 other things they said they have planned first) I wouldn't be surprised if they don't stack as pieces of the existing sets. They seem to want to make it so you can't get two of the 5 piece crafted set bonuses.

Only Way of the Arena is Craglorn. All the others can be made in Coldharbor or the Mages Guild (Eyevea) and Fighters Guild (Earth Forge)

I don't think the 8 Trait sets are worth all that work or time to acquire, the stats are pretty underwhelming. In fact, my favorite set for most of my characters are 3 and 4 Trait Sets. I am just at the point where I can make 6 Trait sets (well, a few more days anyway)

I just reached being able to do 6 traits on medium armor. Had 6 traits on heavy armor already. Got a few months to finish heavy and medium to 8 before I really focus on light armor (which is at 4-5 on most).

I agree that the stats for the 8-traits are underwhelming. I just can't figure out why you'd make A: the hardest sets to craft so underwhelming and B: why there's no stamina focus to any of them.

ZOS what are you smoking? Can I have some?

Because you are either a mage or you don't exist in the eyes of ZOS. It is sad but with every patch it just gets more and more apparent they don't care about anything but Magicka users and casters. They do everything they can to discourage different play styles. Maybe it would just be to difficult to balance for them if people actually played differently.
