Issues with Shadow Barrier underground

I have the Shadow Barrier passive which gives a big armour boost for 4 seconds when coming out of stealth; this is indicated by a double border around me health bar.
However, in dungeons and other delves my health bar takes on a crackled appearance and Shadow Barrier does not work. There's no indication in Shadow Barrier's tooltip to indicate that it doesn't work below ground. Can anyone explain what's happening?

✭✭✭✭✭Are you sure the two things are related? Like you're getting the cracked appearance on the bar, even when you're coming out of stealth and aren't in combat?
I haven't heard anything about that passive being broken, so it may be a display issue for you. And for those, the first thing to check would be addons.----

I have no add ons installed. When in some dungeons my health bar has a cracked appearance when in combat and coming out of stealth; when I come out of stealth I'm not getting the usual double border applied by Shadow Barrier so I'm assuming that its armour bonus is not being applied, but as you say it may just be a display issue.I am one of The Great Mediocracy, those whose role in life is to provide the baseline by which The Few deem themselves Great.0 -

I've never seen the bar get that, but if you want to be sure about the bonus, go in to stealth and then look at your character screen. Come out of stealth and see if your armor/spell resistance change.----

GrimMauKin✭✭✭✭Looking at my character screen coming out of stealth in these situations I think that, as suggested, this is probably a graphics glitch; it looks as if the Shadow Barrier bonus is still being added (it's just that I'm not getting the double border around the health bar).
However, I still don't know that what crackled appearance to the health bar signifies (I get in in underground locations with undead about).

In the past, I've seen that crackled appearance on my sorc too, but never figured out what it indicated. She certainly wouldn't have been stealthing.0 -

I believe it indicates a reduction to your armor. Enemies get that when I attack with an armor reduction weapon. Not sure why you are getting that with this skill though. Must be a display error. /bug it and hope for the best.
