Though the new horse should start at level 1 and need to be fed/trained from scratch. At level 1 the horse should have 3 options to choose from, each being a variation of 20/20/10 starting stats. Only stables in VR zones should be able to offer the trade. This would provide a desirable in-game veteran item, as well provide a time sink to give players a goal to complete.
Horse carry the foals for 320 to 340 days before giving birth. Then it takes one to two years for a horse to be big enough to carry a rider and be trained. So, your willing to put in a two year plus commitment to have a young horse?
Or, are we just going to skip all that and have a Cliff Racer show up and drop off the horse?
See, you do know things about horses! I knew I wasn't completely off-base with my suggestion that because of the connection to the Homeric Nestor you should know all about horses! I feel vindicated!Horse carry the foals for 320 to 340 days before giving birth. Then it takes one to two years for a horse to be big enough to carry a rider and be trained. Only if we can sell them to other players. Spending an obscene amount of gold on stables for our player houses first.
Of course, since the number of hours in a Tamriel day is but a fraction (c. 25% IIRC) of that of 'real world' days, the number of days would be reduced by around 75%.Horse carry the foals for 320 to 340 days before giving birth.
