I did not lie. I might've exaggerated a bit but the fact is, we did get more gold from drops on the PTS than there was on live. And there were players who complained that we got too much gold for rewards. It drove me nuts. And I couldn't argue with them. loudent✭✭✭So, I can't say there's really a dearth of loot as I've gotten a decent amount from various sources but I can attest that it is extremely disappointing to fight an epic battle and find 2 gold on the mob. It's actually ironic that you often get more loot on each of the trash leading up to the boss than the boss itself.
Fortunately this doesn't really hold true for delves and group dungeons which is where I've gotten most of my loot (still not veteran level yet).0
