Kajiit Tails

    I think they should be cut off

    Agreed.

    After we relegate all Khajiit and Argonains to mounts for the far superior elf and human races, I don't want that tail hitting me in the back of the head while riding a Khajiit.

    Part of raising a Khajiit is getting its tail clipped, like we do with Doberman Pinschers.

    Why would you do that when they could make perfectly good seat belts?

    The reason you can't pick a short tail is because you're a Suthay-raht, which are distinguished by their feline facial features and long tails.

    I was always under the impression that the tail, apart from aesthetic purposes, actually held a function. Perhaps it allows a khajiit to maintain balance better, or make sharper turns while running (or is that only applicable on all fours)?

    But I do want more variety in the tail, yes. Make it bushy, or perhaps make the end more like a flowing ink brush

    ...or, just a thought; allow me to put rings and other jewelry options on it.

    A khajiit's tail probably isn't strong enough to support big ol' rings or armor.

    Shorter tails would require a different animation file. Not simply a mesh/texture change.

    It would be nice to have some variation though.

    Not necessarily.

    I made several short tails for Oblivion races that worked perfectly fine with the original animations and skeleton.

    I also made a snow leopard khajiit race with a long fluffy tail.

    Different tail types are certainly possible and not that difficult.

    Tail options should definately be a thing.

    I would have one of these tails.... BUT EVEN FLUFFIER!

    Give the Argonians a racial skill that speeds the regrowth of their tail!
    Comming in update 5, Argonians can use their tail as a club, using a shield you can combine both dual wield and sword and board skills at once.

    Khajiit can use their long and stiff tail as either a destruction or restoration staff.

    Using tail require you to have your back to target.
    Grinding just make you go in circles.
    Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

    I personally love their long tails, but I suppose there's nothing wrong with people having options. Being able to pick what your Khajiit's tail looks like seems like a nice idea.

    Played an rpg once where one race could mount a dagger on the tip of the tail.
    However their tails was even longer than the Khaiit ones.
