Craglorn is a failure. I have to sit there for hours to find people to group to do quests...and some quests are so long ppl drop off...so whos going to help me finish half a quest.

Let's say I have a group of 4 players, maybe even just 3 players. How will I spend my time in the new section of Craglorn? Will I spend it with my group completing laughably easy quests and delves for very underwhelming rewards? Or will my group head to the Arena which is new and unlike anything else in the game, is fun to play, is very challenging and offers much better rewards? Whatever will I do?
We're still a couple of weeks from the release of 1.4 and 80% of the zone's new content will be ignored just like ZOS does with those feedback tickets we submit in-game.
Seriously, who was the genius at ZOS who thought it would be a good idea to create and release a ton of group content at the same time as the Arena, especially given the stunning failure of the group content in the original Craglorn update?

Sadly to say and I hate to sound like a troll but 1.4 imo is a waste of time and resources. I've read over a lot of posts and many of the player base are unhappy with what we are getting in 1.4. I'm beginning to feel that Zos is not listening to their player base as they claim they do but thats just my 2 cents. However, there are a couple of things in the patch that I'm looking forward to but very little tbh.
I said this months ago . this team has little to no control over the end game. Its bucking around like a wild horse. They should not even consider releasing new content until the balance is addressed for melee and armor builds other then light, the 4 man Vr dungeons re scaled and reitemized. all they are doing is throwing buggy exploitable content that has no reward vs crafted.LonePirate wrote: »The 1,4 content only exists on the PTS but I am already going to call the content outside of the Arena and the Serpent Trial an unmitigated failure.

That being said, I think that the OP is premature as are others here in stating that 1.4 is a failure considering it is still in PTS - there is no getting around the facts, which are that every expansion turns into something different after it it hits the live server. It could very well flop as some say, but it could also potentially add a great breath of life to the game. People should just chill and see where the chips fall. I know that is what I will be doing.

I think many players will enjoy the Arena and the raiders will enjoy the Serpent Trial. I purposely excluded them in my thread title and original post.
However, the bulk of the update - being the new quests and delves in the expanded version of Craglorn - is going to go over like a lead balloon. Players do not play or complete the current group quests and delves in the existing version of Craglorn. I honestly have no idea why ZOS thought we needed more content for people to ignore and skip when a sizable chunk of the player base (the solo/duo players and the PVP crowd) are both clamoring for more content and for some unknown reason, ZOS is completely ignoring them. I honestly do not understand this decision from a business perspective.
I went to Craglorn a few weeks ago because I was invited by one of my guilds. We went to just have fun. It was my first time there and we did part of the Trial. I wasn't ready for Craglorn given my VR level and skill base, but they wanted me to go anyway, so I did.
We had fun and after awhile everyone went their separate way. I soloed for a bit and decided to save this zone for another time.
Craglorn is not dead. Some of us are just waiting to do it later when we feel we are ready.
The more content the better. I will do it later, because I'm not in a hurry.
