What do you think of the PvP home campaign buffs?

This poll refers to the home campaign buffs that you receive when your faction is doing well in PVP in your home campaign. The buffs are:

1. +20% spell and weapon crit. 20% crit directly increases your dps by 10%, and you get even more because the crit builds ultimate quicker. Needless to say, this is one massive buff (note: this was 8% prior to 1.3).

2. +5 HP per level. Fairly large buff (+250 HP), since it's equivalent to a more than 16 attribute points put into health.

3. +5% spell damage and weapon damage. This is approximately equal to a +2.5% gain in dps.

4. +5% armor and spell resistance. A modest buff compared to the first two, but still nice.

Some have argued that the system is flawed. First, you can set your home campaign to get the buffs and simply take your buffs to a guest campaign. Second, it takes no effort for an individual player to get the buffs, since you don't even need to set foot in Cyrodiil. Third, it creates an anti-competition incentive for each faction to try to maintain one campaign that it completely dominates just to get buffs for its trial players and for guesting into other campaigns. Fourth the use of buffs for PVE has recently become unbalanced among the factions, because there are now only two campaigns in which the population is low enough for one faction to reliably hold every keep (which means that one of the three factions will be worse than the other two in terms of PVE, including trials).

Home campaign buffs should be usable in both PVE and guest campaigns, and are fine in their current form

Makes no sense what-so-ever to have them apply outside of a Cyrodiil campaign.

I like getting them on my home campaign when I am on my home campaign. I don't choose campaigns dominated by my faction to home at just to get max bonuses because I want to home on an active campaign.

I don't like the idea of people guesting in to my campaign with their campaign's bonuses. I'd also like current emperors from other campaigns to function as former emperors on campaigns they guest on.

Carebears should not benefit at all from the buffs, nor do I feel it is fair if I do outside of cyrodiil.

Frankly, I'm a bit tired of people who hate pvp and try to hinder it as much as possible and cry about how evil we are, coasting off of our hard work.

Just like I think IC should require tyro to enter. Especially since it goes towards the pop cap of the actual campaign. We can't exactly hold on to emperor when the campaign is flooded with useless pve'rs killing mobs in the imperial city. PvP'rs all know how to pve just fine and can do all that related stuff ourselves, since we actually earned it.

I would probably be less resentful if carebears weren't so outright insulting and hostile (btw, I only ever started using that term after getting called a griefer 20 or so times.) If they would also attempt to be useful in pvp if they wanted access to IC, it wouldn't be as big a deal. Getting tyro would be a clear message that they were willing to get their hands dirty.

However, I am going to have a very fun time ambushing enemy carebears and wiping them while they pve in an enemy controlled IC. At least I'll get something out of it.
Dear Sister, I do not spread rumors, I create them.

Currently, unless you're actually in contention to get emperor, there isn't much incentive to home in on the campaign you intend to play as opposed to homing on a buff campaign and then guesting in the campaign you intend to play. The end of campaign rewards are utterly insignificant.

It's not like I play relying on them anyway, so it matters not one iota to me.
I am not spending a single penny on the game until changes are made to the game that I want to see.
    1) Remove having to be in a guild to sell items to other players at a kiosk.
    2) Cosmetic modding for armor and clothing.
    3) Difficulty slider.
    4) Fully customizable player housing that isn't tied to anything in the game other than having the correct resources and enough gold to build. Don't tie it to PvP, guild membership, or anything at all. Oh, make it instanced so as not to take up world map space, too. Zeni screwed this one up already.
Any /one/ of these things implemented would get me spending again, maybe even subbing.

I like the color of my vote choice. This teal blue pleases me.

Also, I really don't have an opinion on this subject yet. Just reading the arguments to see what I can make of it.

I realize that, I just prefer to earn my buffs.

Edit: also, that end of campaign reward takes a small piece out of the bottomless pit I throw my gold into to support my pvp habits.

Where is the "remove the guest campaign" option? Pick a campaign and fight for your bonuses!
