ESO PS4, moving PC account to console?

So rather than upgrading my PC so ESO would play better I've decided to buy a PS4, not to add I'd be looking at spending around $1000 to do so vrs $500 for a console. Not to add all my friends will be playing on the PS4, my 27" computer monitor vrs my 55" TV AT 1080. I've been playing this game since the first beta, I recall reading somewhere about a possible transfer from the PC to Console for $20? I'm wondering when does the game actually come out for the consoles and how do I go about doing this.

Thanks for any help you guys are able to provide.

I'm fairly sure that offer expired a while ago. It was offered as soon as the console delay was announced, but I believe it was only for a limited time.

I hope not... If that's the case zenimax will lose a long term customer :(

Which I'm sure will be sad for them, but they were quite public with the announcement. If you've been playing since beta, you were given ample opportunity to get that transfer.

I think that was a pre-order bonus back in May-June or something.

If I remember the announcement correctly the transfer deal was if you had purchased the game and activated an account by the end of June you could transfer for 20 dollars when the console versions release. So you should be fine if that's what you want to do.

Whenever the console versions come, that is.

This is what I recall, as well. Here is the article.

I still find myself wishing that they would allow the same servers to be used with the PS4 and XB1 versions of the game so that we could all be in the same game, but I realize that is folly. Not only does it seem that Microsoft and Sony discourage stuff like that, but addons give the PC players an advantage in the game.

Thanks for that link, that's a shine of good news for me.

I agree with PS and Microsoft on the same servers but it's clear that will never happen due to being competitors and the whole xbox live sub vrs PS+ on top on the subs.

Back on topic, has there been any news as to when the game should be released for consoles and what rout I need to be taking to complete the transfer?

Ah, then I was mistaken about what the expiration on the deal was. I thought someone had to purchase the transfer or opt in to it by the June deadline.

Nothing. Nothing whatsoever except one of the community managers commented in a thread a while back that there will indeed be console versions of this game. People keep saying that they doubt it will happen now etc. so they confirmed that it will.

Other than that just the sound of crickets chirping as far as I know.

Planning to start fresh on Xbox myself.

I remember it was said to launch on consoles in June but got delayed ~6 month, probably a good thing since I'd rather a delay than another rushed broken release. I haven heard any updates as to why I made this thread as well, I'm pretty done with playing on the PC because it still runs like garbage on my rig so I've been just plucking away at simple achievements during my free time.

I got lots of other games to play at the moment but ESO is one of them I'd like to be playing since I'm paying a monthly sub.

There is a sign up for beta on consoles if you look for it at this website.

You're right partially. The game must purchased for PC/MAC before June 30, 2014 11:59PM UTC. I went ahead and linked the article from ZOS.
Via a special offer, anyone who purchases and activates the PC/Mac version of The Elder Scrolls Online by 6/30/14 (11:59pm UTC) will have the opportunity to transfer their character(s) to either console version when they are released.

Can you post a link, I scanned over the website and the FAQ's, couldn't find a console beta sign up anywhere.

    -Thanks

Thanks for that info... especially the wording of it... I would like to transfer my second account over to the PS4 but have been waiting to ensure it actually does get released on the console before contacting them about it, as I am sure a number of other people are doing.
