Me and some guildies were doing Elden Hollow (Vet) and wanted the "Closing the Book" achievement. The only person in our group who got the achiev was the person who read the scroll. Is this working as intended? It seems that the group should get it when the hardmode is activated. I submitted a bug, but I don't know if it is or not. Just looking for some confirmation because that is kinda disappointing if everyone has to read the scroll each time. Doesn't the scroll burn up after it is read anyway?

Thanks!

Most definitely a bug. It was fine (all of us got it) when my group did it a month or two ago

edit: I vaguely remember seeing in recent patch notes about a fix that you cannot read the scroll once the fight has been started. Maybe that broke it?

Well, we definitely did not read the scroll once the fight started. We actually tried it once, wiped, re-read the scroll and proceeded to kill the boss. Then, of course, only the one who read the scroll got the achiev :(

We all submitted bugs, maybe we will get a response. On a side note, I have also submitted bugs in the last week for broken quests and achievs and have yet to hear anything about them :(
