I want an option to NOT recieve notifications on trials etc

Another vote for providing an option to turn off the trial notifications. PLEASE - I love my guilds, but these are driving me insane. Or put them in another tab, separate from group invites and other player interactions like invites to trade - stuff I actually care about right now. That way, I could just ignore the other tab, unless I get curious.

Although really, in their current form, the notifications are kinda' useless anyway. Even if I wanted to know, these messages don't tell me who completed the trial, or even which guild it was. So, I know that 4 people, out of a potential 2,500, in one of five possible guilds, completed a trial in a certain time. Lol, awesome.

I'd also love a reply to mail function.

I know you folks at Zenimax are busy pumping out new content, but there are plenty of us who aren't even in Craglorn yet - and really don't give two sh*ts about trials yet.

Yes, PLEASE. Or at least let us pick which guild you want the note from.
Its mostly trade guilds where someone is in a raid guild. Never someone you know.

This cant be to hard to put in game. Like, now.

I just released an addon that disables raid score notifications. It's called RaidAway. It's up on esoui and Minion. It disables all of them right now. I'll be adding guild selection to it next so you can choose which guilds to receive notifications from.

Agree just want them for my pve guild should be a toggle like guild chat. Off topic a bit but to the guy who posted earlier there are a few good nb stamina builds in trials. A couple of my guildies run them and no they aren't being carried they get 1000+ dps.

while I absolutely want to know that sort of thing from my main guild - I do not care if someone in my trading guilds whom I don't even know accomplished a trial.

    so, agreed with OP

I wear light armor and a staff and I still do not want to pvp, do trials or hear about same if at all possible. More power to those who enjoy those things, but I am blissfully cheerful without them.

All I want to know is when the queue has popped for PVP. I could care less about someones PVE Trial that has taken 3 hours to complete.

Should be able to turn them on/off on a per guild basis.. that way people can turn them off for guilds they don't really give a stuff about.. such as trading guilds, and leave on for perhaps their 'proper' guild if they so choose..

Also something less annoying that a 'notification'... perhaps something like a chatbox message would suffice and not annoy so many people

The user interface programmers for this game continue to make all the wrong decisions when they decide how to go about implementing a certain feature.

The unavoidable spam about trials, the lack of a basic "reply" function for mail, the lack of useful information in raid notifications and guild store sales notifications, the clunky, buggy and partly broken browsing and searching in inventory, banks and stores, the guild bank stacking problem...

I wish that ZOS would have someone looking at this soon. Someone with skill and experience with user interface design, not the people who designed the current mess. Mistakes are understandable, but there is really no excuse for letting those mistakes remain for months.

Add me to the list of people that want the ability to opt out of those silly notifications. I'm in 4 trade guilds, and couldn't give less of a crap what random other people in those guilds are doing in trials. Especially since, like others have said, the useless notifications don't even tell you who the people were or even which guild they were from!

Also, I have to add... I like how a forum mod responded to another thread on this (one started back in May), by simply closing it and referring people to this thread, but we still have no ZOS comment on whether they even care about this issue. The OP has 65 agrees (so far)!

I thank you for the link to this addon.

But in a way, the addon community is just once again enabling ZOS's laziness...

NO you MUST know when ur guild mates complete a trial! Its clearly the most important thing in the game/your entire life! If people couldn't annoy u with their trial times why would they even play the game or live at all?

This should have been a NO BRAINER from the start considering that you are in multiple guilds with HUNDREDS of people.
Force weapon swap to have priority over EVERYTHING. Close enough.
Make stamina builds even with magicka builds.
    Disable abilities while holding block.
Give us a REASON to do dungeons more than once.
Remove PVP AoE CAP. It is ruining Cyrodiil.
Fix/Remove Forward Camps. They are ruining Cyrodiil.
Impenetrability needs to REDUCE CRIT DAMAGE. Not negate entire builds.
Werewolf is not equal to Vamps/Bats.

With the addition of trials, I've noticed that I now receive notifications when guildmates complete trials (I think only when they get decent times maybe).

The problem with this is many people are in trade guilds with 500+ members. I'm in a couple of these. I'm getting a lot of notifications that guildmates have completed trials.

Is there a way to turn this off? Ideally per guild (so I can leave it on for my main guild)? I've looked everywhere I can think of and can't find anything.

    Thanks in advance!
