Vampires drain essence and stunned targets?

Just curious if it is intended mechanic that drain essence can not be used against stunned targets? It also seems to work in the way that after npc is back to the fight, it takes couple of seconds sometimes to get drain essence work after stun.

Is it also intended that Drain essence wont work against large enemies like Daedroth and such? Feels odd if it is since it makes that ability useless in boss fights where it could be most useful..

There are some monsters that are too powerful, and you should see a notification when that is the case. Mostly bosses, but also Storm Atronachs, Gargoyles, and some others. I have never met a non-boss Daedroth I can't drain.

As to the stun bug, this has been reported since beta and never addressed or fixed, so I have to assume at this point they are either ignoring it, or it is intended.

Yep, most Bosses and some Mobs are just too powerful for some effects. Have to adjust tactics when you come across them.

Believe me, Knock Back effects are my Survival Tool in some fights, and it's not fun to not be able to use it.

Yeah, I've had a few close calls due to this. Need some quick healing, and the skill doesn't fire, then have to switch targets in a hurry. Usually it's not too bad, but it can get a bit hairy when you're in the middle of a brawl.
