Hey fellow questers. So I just finished my first round through Cold Harbor and was answering this question a lot on Zone Chat. It took me a while to figure it out and some people have suggestions but they are not specific enough. Here is what you need to do step by step to be able to plant seeds on the bodies of Inheritance Soldiers for the "Endless War" quest in Cold Harbor.

First find an inheritance soldier (not a zombie or skeleton) and kick his @$$. But don't plant the seed on him because 10 times out of 10 you probably won't be able to even though the prompt is there

Here's what you do and it takes a bit of time but at least you will get the quest done.

Wait until the soldier respawns. Now this is when you plant the seed on the dead one. He will start attacking you while you do this but it's ok. You can kill him when you are done planting! So plant the seed, kill the new offender and then repeat!

It takes a couple minutes for them to respawn, but just find something to do while you wait. This worked for me 100% and it worked for other people I told in Zone Chat so it's tried and true. If anyone else has any comments about this please speak. And hope this helps everyone with this frustrating glitch!
