Unintended Combat Roll

Please tell me I am not the only one who experiences this. It happens at the most inconvenient times: trying to be all stealth like and swipe stuff from someone's bedside dresser or trying to look all heroic when confronting a boss. Next thing you know, SWOOSH, combat roll! Now I know it might be that I am mangling my keyboard and double tapping left or right however when I actually try to dodge, nothing. Nope, no dodging for you my friend because that would be useful. You only get the "unintended combat roll".

Never happens to me. I disabled double tap for dodge in my setting and use a button on my mouse. So much quicker and accurate in combat situation ;)

There is also a sensitivity setting for the double tap, no need to disable it completely ...

My Vampire Witch was having trouble feeding as Vampire sneak is really fast. You have to tap then tap again to go slower and you do that too fast and boom you roll right past them, kinda destroying your feed.

I just hit walk first now and sneak up that way, you have to remember to turn that off while you feed though. ;)

I like it, as a sorc it's mostly backwards that I use it. ;)

Go into your settings and upwardly adjust the delay time between taps to activate a dodge roll. I'm sure you can find a happy break that is still there when you need it!

Sometimes this happens to me in a bank or some other crowded place. It's kinda embarrassing, but I get used to it ;)

You mean when you're just about in perfect position and the next minute you're in the middle of the dinner table all "Hey guys, what's up?"

It's a tough call between this and the bonus roll, usually right at cliff's edge.

Seriously, though, if you adjust your sensitivity timing, it can do wonders. (It'll happen when you want it to and you'll have stamina left when you need it to.

Been there, done that, more times than I can count.
