Melee based Templar...stamina and damage, Armor Bitting Jabs

MrHemlocks
I am going to change my Templar to melee based attacks. But before I do that I need a few questions answered.

1) Bitting Jabs uses the weapon crit damage. Now how does stamina effect Bitting Jabs? Does stamina play an important part with Bitting Jabs.

2) Stamina effects weapon damage..correct?

3) What is the best type of armor to wear as a melee based Templar? I will be using a sword and board with Bitting Jabs, Shield Charge, Immovable, Blazing Shield, Pierce attack( S&B weapon morph that lowers target spell and armor values) and Ultimate (not sure yet but was considering the spear sweep).

The second bar will mostly be heals with some range attacks...bow or magic.

    1) It scales with magicka, not stamina.

    2) I don't know. I stopped using stamina abilities and non-staves months ago.

    3) I would say light armor if you didn't say S&B. Light armor may still be the best choice, as it is superior for magicka users and you may have trouble managing resources. Otherwise you may want to consider medium armor for the stamina and crit bonuses, or a mix of light and medium.
