Some random questions

First) Anyone know where I can find up to date information on current craftable sets, pvp gear and lootable sets? One that shows the location to craft the set and also how many traits is needed. One that stays up to date. Google searches have brought back nothing but old information and information on sets that are no longer right.

Second) Anyone doing "The missing guardian" because filling a group to do this damn quest is making me insane.. On NA and EP.

Are those actually up to date? I wont be making sets expecting something and getting something different like + magicka inplace of what says + spell crit or something?

Lately I use some guides like this and when I get there the set is not the same..

That guide is up-to-date. I'm actually not aware of any guides that still use the pre-1.3 set bonuses in their descriptions.

If you click on the link I posted, then one of the first things you will be is these two lines:
"If you are looking for Dropped Sets & PvP Sets, click the Sets link above!"
"The information on this page is updated up to Patch v1.3.3"

I made a set of Willow's Path last night, and the bonuses listed on the pieces I made are in conflict with what is shown on that page as:
"The information on this page is updated up to Patch v1.3.3"

So, no, at least for Willow's Path, it's incorrect.

The page claims in part:
[ (2 items) Adds 78 Max Magicka ]

[ (4 items) Adds 10 Health Recovery ]

I actually got:
[ (2 items) Adds 37 Max Magicka ]
-
[ (4 items) Adds 4 Health Recovery ]

This is correct. The effect is the same, but the magnitude of the effect scales with lvl of the armor...or something. It scales with something. Not sure with what, but the info is correct albeit misleading.

The pics on the guide sites are for VR12 Level Gear. If you craft a set a lower level, then you get less stats. This is working as normal. Which is why I don't make a Crafted Set until my toons are well into their 30's.

Thanks for that info.
I'm not taking my 'toons into the VR ranks, so I had no idea of that, and it never occurred to me that there were different stats for 'above and below' the vet rank dividing line.

Just another case of my needing to learn more stuff.
I appreciate the lesson.

Well... Vet isn't the dividing line per say.
Sets scale wilth all lvls and also with what lvl temper it's improved to. A lvl 30 set will have better stats in the set bonus than a lvl 10 set. Also blue is better than green.

Also, you can have multiple levels of a set, but the stats will average out. You will still get the bonus, but it will be less than if you have a full at lvl set.

I really should come up with a better way to depict the values of these sets. It could be me, but seeing a number gives me some idea of how high it can go instead of just putting "adds Health". Not really sure what the best way to go about it is. I am fairly certain that sets that add Max Health for example will all add the same values at that the same levels (for crafted anyway). And I'm fairly sure this is the case with other stats too. Maybe I could just add a values chart...
