How are people getting hit for that much damage in PvP? Does the recap group together instances of fragmented shield? So 1 cast = 6 shields = 6 x 150 or something?1

Well, i agree it needs some adjustment. Each player getting shield is exploding it when the shield is down because of damage.
So this is a way to get around the aoe cap. It is more like 6 x 400+ damage at least. I still think its funny. In PvE you can just have 2 DKs spamming it and every trash pack dies in 2 seconds.

I just figured that yesterday when we were doing trials. I had it in my bar because we were starting to try the Hardmode yesterday. So i used it on trash and even on the stone atronach in AA. I found it hilarious so i recorded it.
Basically you need 3 skills in your bar to reach top notch DPS. Fragmented shields, spell symmetry and inner light. Only works on stone atronach and in the mage bombing phase.
But yea, i agree its way to strong.1 -

Yes, it does. If you are hit by an ability twice by one player, and it is in the last five attack types you received, it will be lumped together on the death recap as one damage listing.-First-Wave Closed Beta Tester of the Psijic Order, aka the 0.016 percent.
