Using Leather in the Clothing Line Skill?

Hi... wondering if anybody else is having issues doing this.. Leather is not coming up as an option for me when I'm at a clothing station (currently at tailoring 4/9 and it should have been available at 3/9). I have some 200 pieces of leather which would really help me level up in this skill line, but I'm not sure how to access them. Thanks!

✭are you looking at the cloth or leather pieces? You might be accidentally looking at cloth.

sylvieanne✭✭✭You know, I'm not even blonde but I figured that the robe category would give you the option of making it from whatever material... I never scrolled far enough to see that the categories restarted. Sorry - and thank you. BTW, Smee - what's your quote from in your signature?0

✭I have been through this without problems
1. Rawhide
2. hide
3. leather
4. thick leather.
As you said if you have clothing 3+ you should be able to use leather.
Try unticking the have mats and have knowledge options.
See if you can get that to work.
You probably do this already but make sure you go all the way over to medium armour rather than light armour.
