I use Hunding's Rage 5-piece, Twilight's Embrace 3/4 piece, and the Ophidian jewelry/bow set as a two-piece (I'll be upgrading to 3 shortly). In general, as long as I can stay close to the boss, I do. I make sure that Focused Attacks is always up, and I spam Rapid Strikes. If Surprise Attack falls off, I re-apply it. When the boss gets to low health, I usually switch to bow and start spamming Impale and Poison Injection as much as possible.

Do you have any dps numbers on that? Spamming rapid strikes without cancelling heavy attacks doesn't sound very effective to me.

What I do know is that when I hit bosses, they go down a lot faster than when I'm not hitting them, and I know that my build has been helping my guilds through timed trials (no, before you ask, not everyone else is wearing light armor and wielding staves there). I've also completed all my VR Crypt of Hearts achievements, so again, please spare me the "You must be getting carried," arguments. They're boring.

Looking at a dps meter is literally clicking one button and looking at a number. That's it. No math involved anywhere.
Also, you are probably getting carried. If this doesn't sit right with you, maybe it would be a good idea to check that one single number to see if it's right.
I would get a dps meter just for my own piece of mind. Also it encourages you to work harder and perfect your rotation as It highlights any slips.

I like your build. Relax man, you're really defensive. I'm looking to see if there's anymore variety than just one build.

@nerevarine1138
I'm getting fed up of you making posts I'm forced to agree with...lol
DPS meters... GET A LIFE ! If the Boss/Mob goes down and you're still standing that's a 'WIN' ! ! ! (and I don't need a damn meter to tell me that)

And when it doesn't? When you meet a boss with a dps check/enrage mechanic that you don't clear?
As for running with a dps meter causing the healers consternation just lol. It seems to me you are scared of finding out the truth that actually after all your talk you may have been carried. If not where's the harm and to be clear I don't run mine all the time just when I'm testing new gear or altering my rotation. Eso doesn't have rotations you say again I disagree. Every dps I know that competes in trials uses there skills in a set order to gain maximum benefit from each skill.
