OMG, I did it again, This time i killed Molan Bal one handed
I,d like to say a big thank you yto everyone that offered advice, sent me armour and weapons, to the you tube videos i studied, Thanks to everyone, i actually cried when i killed him. All i did was run backwards, hit him and heal. I died once, was about to give up because i keep losing control of my character. Had to hit ESC to regain control. Now for some much earned coffee.

I had a hard time beating him as a Templar; I could never get away from his attacks fast enough when I was a Templar, and I always run out of stamina. I dies several times, but thanks over-dosing on soul gems I finally beat him.
I easily kicked his butt as a Sorcerer using Destruction Staff, Surge,Bolt Escape, Shards and Overlord abilities. But the second time, I knew what to expect and what abilities to use (from reading the forums).

I easily kicked his butt as a Sorcerer using Destruction Staff, Surge,Bolt Escape, Shards and Overlord abilities. But the second time, I knew what to expect and what abilities to use (from reading the forums).

I was lv 50. Templar, I used full seducer armor set, and matching Destruction staff which was made for me by friends. I ate food which increased my magic and stamina by 239. I used the warrior stone. I had heaps of healing pots under Q, and all I did was run backwards whilst hitting him with staff, heal swear, run n roll, heal, swear again, heal, etc etc, I also made sure I dyed my armor a gastly color lol. ,4 -

You should use resto staff and mainly use the channeled attack (hold down left mouse button) and heal yourself. Boring as hell but works.2 -

✭Congrats! I'm still stuck on it. My hand locks up part way through the fight and I can't move my mouse anymore. Something may be wrong with my toon though. My son tried it and he got one shotted as well.

Badh0rse✭✭✭This is nuts ... I farted on him and he died. Well that is not exactly how it went down but pretty close. Did they actually make the fight worth doing? I thought it was the most anticlimactic and easy end of quest line ever!The Evil League of Evil1

I did it also for the second time yesterday. I died 7 times on my way to the battle. I couldn't avoid the flaming balls he throws on the ground for some reason. Those hit me for 1900 since I was a vamp. I had no trouble with the fight even though it was harder with this DK then It was with my Nightblade 3 weeks after early access. The OP only has use of one arm/hand. So all of his fighting has to be done one handed.
He originally posted a thread asking for advice on how to beat Molag Bal because of this.
He received a lot of advice about everything from builds, gear, links to videos, information and links to mice and footpads that can be keyed to overcome his difficulties. He was also offered better gear, weapons, and much encouragement by a lot of people.
While the fight may have been easy for you, and a lot of others, for the OP it presented a very unique challenge.
This is an excellent post, and I as you can see by the replies, those who were aware of his original post are very happy that he was able to defeat Molag Bal.

I think the problem people run into the first time is they see this boss and think, "OMG, I'm going to need every skill in my arsenal to take him out". The fact is that using your skills is what gets you killed because you quickly run out of stam/mag. Keep moving, ignore the side mobs and do normal hits. It will take 6-7 minutes but you'll survive.

I think you're confused by the title. OP only has one usable hand. So he HAD to do it this way.

Ohhh I get it now. I actually posted on one of threads before trying to help .... advised him to try using a Razer Naga or equivalent. Congratz @lycanslerwb17_ESO on the kill! had him beaten in less then 2 mins with my naked templar, I was totally disappointed how weak I felt he was
I meet him first time with my sorcerer as well pre-nerf and I freaking loved that fight, it felt epic, awesome and everything it should still have been to this day.
I had read on forums, how people complained about the fight, so I made sure I was ready for him then, potions, range weapons, and second bar restro staff.
10 minuets after I had him killed in first try pre-nerf, sweating like a pig, feeling a sweet sense of accomplishment, and yelled out yeaaaaaaahhhhhhhh (poor neighbors)1
