Question about VR zones

So I just finished my dagger fall run and am done with all that. I started a quest called caldwells silver. I got off the boat to auridon and a ship captain told me to go speak to someone in the city. I skipped that and went right to the roost place. When I got there caldwells sliver quest just says explore the zones in the dominion or something like that. I also have a quest now to go speak to the kahjiit in the roost. Before I went there and first got off the boat I had a quest to go speak to that person in the city but I no longer have that. What should I do. Will it all work itself out?
Also I thought I get some sort or costume for hitting veteran rank but I never did.

✭Answers will include Spoilers, and your post sheds some light into future events for New Players, its a Spoiler.
1. You have a quest to talk to Queen, as though you started in AD Lands. However you won't go through the entire story, about 1/2 the "main story" is gutted. This is not Faction Betrayal because...The parts you will face mostly involve the Veiled Queen and her deal with Molag Bal. Same with the EP Lands, many of the enemies are influenced by Molag Bal. You are cleansing the world of Molag Bal's influence on behalf of Meridia. You kinda move from saving one region to saving the world.
2. The other quest is to go to Kenarthi's Roost, the Starter Island for AD. When an EP Player starts the quest, they appear in Daggerfall and get a quest to go to Stros M'Kai then Betnikh. When you go to EP Lands, you will get a quest to talk to the leader of a Dunmer great house, but also to Bleakrock Isle.

Thing is I only had the quest to talk to that kahjiit in the roost. I had another quest when I first got there but I didn't go do it because I decided I'd go straight to the island. The minute I got to the island the quest was just gone. Any ideas0 -

✭That quest should not go away, but if it does, just pick it up again by talking to the officer at the stairs near the docks once you get back to Vulkhel Guard.1 -

Ok. Is it the officer at top of the stairs. Because someone showed me that the npc should be at the bottom of the stairs which I don't see.0 -

✭To know what quests you have to do press J (or whatever brings up your quest journal for you) there is a tab that is specifically for cadwell's almanac, and it lists everything you need to do and checks if off when you are done (I also think it highlights it when you have the quest.)Dear Sister, I do not spread rumors, I create them.0 -

Thanks. That's what I thought. No spoilers. Anyway now that I'm doing it it's suck a drag. They should of come up with something else. There's nothing like going from fighting huge beasts and enemy that actually look hard but are not hard to go into fighting a wolf that kicks your ass. Lol.1
