leveling undaunted

Yes, I searched.

Everyone says to "do dungeons" to level undaunted but I've hit every public dungeon plus I ran spindle probably half a dozen times. After all that my undaunted is about a third of the way to level 2. (it appears that it only advances once per dungeon and 0 for public dungeons.

So, does anyone know how to get that bar moving a little faster. There are only so many dungeons I can run at my level.

You'll have to level and do dungeons and their associated quests in each zone.

On my low level Templar I've only run through maybe 3-4 dungeons and it's halfway towards level 3 and on my high level sorc I've run twice as many dungeons and it has not even reached level 2.

ie: undaunted levels whenever it feels like it.

I see, so until level 15 or so I can get it a third of the way through, so the next zone another third (15-25) and then another third at 25-35... so I'm almost level 3 by the time I hit level 50?

I *had* a plan to use the level 3 taunt ability from the undaunted line on my tank but I'm not even going to get there before it's almost meaningless

As has kind of been hinted at in this thread, you level Undaunted faster when you do new dungeons and complete their associated quests while in that level range. Repeatedly running a low-level dungeon, especially if you outlevel it, is going to be slow.

I think you only get exp for each new instanced group dungeon, and you get 10 per. At this rate, you have to get will into veteran levels to max out the undaunted.

I did get 10 extra exp from somewhere, i don't know where it came from, likely one of the Dungeon achievements (you can see them by hitting J) I've tried several and haven't got any extra exp other than my mystery 10 exp.

It's not leveling for me at all. Don't know why. I have cleared plenty of dungeons. Am I doing something wrong?

You have to do the 4 man public dungeons and their quests and achievements to level undaunted.

Do you need to talk to the undaunted guys at local tavern first, before heading to the dungeons in that area? I reckon it certainly helps, but is it required to get undaunted experience?

One recommendation at least: also do the dungeons in other factions areas (you can wayshrine to them directly from the map)

It could be that undaunted xp is bugged slightly.. Mine just got past lvl 2.

It is not required, and it is not bugged.

Undaunted XP is supposed to level very slowly, considering there are only 5 levels.

Does Undaunted, like other skill lines, advance more quickly if you have skills from it on your hotbar?

No, undaunted, currently, only advances by completing the group dungeons. I don't recall if public dungeons also advance it.

Same with Mages and fighters guild. Neither advances by putting skills on your hotbar (fighter = kill daedra, mages = reading the "blue glow" lore books
