Any New Console Release Information?

Other than the announcement that it is being delayed for an uncertain amount of time, has there been any other information as to when we can expect it? I have had my Physical Imperial Edition GameStop preorder for months now and I am wondering if it has been canceled or not. Monthly status updates from Zenimax would be nice.

They're probably waiting to see how well they can fix the performance issues/optimize the game for multiple cores before it's anywhere near playable on consoles.

I have my FX-6300 at 4.5ghz and get down to 15fps in heavy PvP. I don't know what'll happen with the console CPUs running at <2Ghz

That is likely. What I hear about the PC version's performance doesn't exactly sound like songs of praise so it would be worse for consoles. I just with they would give us something to hope for, because if the worst happens and the console versions are cancelled I would have waited all this time for nothing. Not to mention if it's not canceled if I got the PC version now there is no way I could transfer my data (for some reason) because it wasn't before June. I'm sure you can understand my concerns. I just want to know if they are actually still working on it or not. Many people have been waiting for a long time and the wait is very draining for some of us.

I feel your pain. When I get as hyped for a game as I did with ESO, I need to just pretend it doesn't exist until it's released. Otherwise it's all I think about all day, F5ing websites all day at work.

There's too much money in console releases for them to just cancel the project. It might just take them 6 months longer than expected.

I hope they have another few weeks of "buy for PC and transfer to consoles later". I should have done that when I had the chance but back then I thought there would be more progress than what it seems there is now. I would like another opportunity to be able to buy it for PC so I can at least play now and transfer later. Though I understand if technical issues would not allow that. I'll just keep waiting if that's the case.

Yes September 9th for all consoles...for a fun non forced group mmo'ish style game that alot of people will be playing.
I assume you meant info on release date of a good game?

If you mean eso....2016 at current rate...mid 2015 if they just dump what they have now and say " we are working to fix things. ..please keep sending us your $15."

Why don't you save up and buy a PC? I bought a $500 PC because I didn't wanna wait till the release for console and it runs ESO just fine. I'm excited for it to come to console but unsure about how the addons and chat function will work.

I actually built my own PC for about $1200 and it is amazing, but I was pulled in by "how cool it would be" to play an mmo on a console. Marketing really fooled me there. Good one guys. Hahaha... Problem now is I would definitely buy it on a PC, but once console versions come out I would not be able to transfer my data. I'm trapped in an ESO limbo.
