I dont want to make Dog's or Cat's exclusive status rewards. All i want is that pets implemented in game are not some creatures that would never be pets in the first place.
I mean taming a wraith? Thats just silly, they are creatures that are there to kill you. Same would go for many other possible pet types i can think of but sadly people want something #cool" and even more sad is that Devs give them these "cool" items that disregard lore and reason. Soon it will be like WOW with stupid mini dragons and hellhounds as pets.
What next? Some stupid mount that never should have been a mount in the first place.. Or over large shoulders maybe, thats cool too right?

Just want to say, that I'm thankful for whatever they give us. It's not that they promised anything like that. It's a gift. Don't look a gift horse in the mouth.
Well said.

I have to respectfully disagree. I play this game to take a break from real life if I wanted that I could get in real life I would go out and buy them in real life. this is a fantasy game after all and that implies that taming a wraith may be possible within the confines of the Elderscrolls universe.

I wish it be that simple but sadly it is not. Every fantasy universe there is has its own set of "Rules" the lore and facts that have happened and what can and can not happen. Certain creatures are agressive and can only be interacted certain way.

wolves are very aggressive animals in real life however humans domesticated them and now we have pet dogs. I cannot think of any exact examples right now but there are examples of other aggressive creatures within the game that have been domesticated.
Basic pet types shouldn't be loyalty rewards, magical creatures that you don't generally think of as tamable should.

Only that now we would have wraith pet but hundreds of years in future they can not be pets anymore? Goes backwards a bit, right?
Wolves are cautious rather than agressive animals. They are thinked as agressive but this is not true. They hunt for food, attack only when threatened and usually avoid contact with humans. They just have bad reputation because of fear and ignorance.
