Molag Bal has a ton of health points and takes a while to whittle down with a Templar, but he does not hit you all that hard, and he never heals, so he never needs to have his spells interrupted.

The fight gets a lot easier with some backwards or sideways running (kiting or circling). Do you have any extra buttons on your mouse so you can map movement keys to them? You could probably get away with just one backwards or sideways movement button, mouse turns and light and heavy attacks. Blocking is boosted to some kind of reflecting magic shield in this fight, so you can take down the horde of Titans by just holding block. Molag Bal and his bombing attacks does need some running, though, and you would be well advised to stay mobile and use a ranged weapon. I hit him mostly with heavy restoration staff attacks to stay replenished on Magicka, healed some with a Templar ability when I didn't get out of the way quickly enough, and patiently watched him slowly wither away. The fight took quite some time, but I was never in any real trouble. I did not need to use any potions or ultimates. I just kept running in circles around him.

Try using a staff, just keep moving and spamming light attacks. Eventually you will wear him down.

Kiting and ranged combat is the key. Also plan for a long fight, so selfheals, high regen+heavy armor or lifesteal are important.
Also don't hesistate to use Fighters guild anti-deadra skills (expert hunter in particular).

You can fully customise your keybindings (except for Esc being menu). If your setup is not ideal, change it till it is. Only you can find out your ideal setup.

But in the end this is a action combat MMO, so if you don't have both hands in Real Life you are at a big disadvantage. No keybinding setting will be able to compensae for that.
A multi key mouse/trackball might be the better idea if you can only use 1 hand, but it is still a game for people with two hands.

A bit of info about your character would help with advice. Also how far into the fight do you get?

In a nutshell though... You can take out all his minions by just holding Block until all their projectiles reflect back and they kill themselves. After that, it's just a matter of attrition. A ranged attack to whittle away at him (resto staff is best), stay out of the red, never stop moving, and pop a self heal whenever you can. It can take a while, but normal attacks will eventually get him down.

I would suggest you purchase a mmo mouse with twelve buttons or something like that, would be more than enough and then you bind them as you want and learn it. Lots of work with the thumb on those mouses I guess but could be what you need.

Btw, about the fight, make sure you have a healing spell available, then it's simply possible to defeat him with only light attacks and heavy attacks, silly but possible but a bit slow.

You can reflect pretty much all the attack of the Titans back at them and kill them while blocking. As for Molag Bal himself, I can't remember if I had to do anything different than running and shooting. I read you defeated Mannimarco too which was, in my opinion, more difficult so don't give up!

I believe that except for his aoe stomp, you can pretty much block all the damage that he throws out at you. It does involve a lot of running though.

I'd stock up on health potions for sure. The resto staff is also very useful for the fight, especially if you have mutagen. I think the crossbow thing from the fighters guild does quite a bit of damage to him as well.

All damage is multiplied by like 10 due to the "Amulet of Kings bonus" or whatever it is. So Sun Fire is good to keep up DoT and that DoT will be significant. Blazing Spear is good, too. It does DoT and each tick of the DoT can 25% proc Burning Light which does thousands of points of damage in this fight. If you have Nova charged up, it can do tens of thousands of points of damage. He teleports around if I remember, so cast Blazing Spear/Nova when he finishes a teleport and arrives at a new location. That makes it less likely he will teleport away right in the middle of Blazing Spear or Nova. Those lose the DoT effect if he leaves the AoE.

All of those are ranged, as you may have noticed. It helps to keep your distance from him. Easier to move around and avoid his red circles of death if you are not stuck right in his face.

And keep up block for the adds, as suggested.

If you have Puncturing Strikes morph, the 40% damage as health return should heal you to full just about instantly. The damage you do is inflated in this fight and thus any damage returned as health will be inflated, too! You will need to be in melee range, but Puncturing Strikes should heal you right through any extra damage you take from being so close.

It is a long fight, though. Just no way to nuke him since he has so many hit points. You'll be out of resources frequently (a common Templar problem), so you'll need to be running away a lot to give your resources time to regen.

    Good luck!

One thing that bugged me in the fight was that as I ran away I was in slow motion, so he hit me too quickly and I died. But I will not give up.

I play with a Razer Naga this is assuming you have your right hand only, all the controls are bound to the mouse. Left and Right mouse buttons remain the same, the rest of the controls as follows:

    MB4 - Mount
    MB5 - Dodge
Wheel Button - Auto run, steer with the mouse.
    1,2,3,4,6 - your action buttons
5 - Interact, talk to npcs, etc.
    7 - Quickslot
    8 - Ultimate
    9 - Weapon Swap
    10 - Strafe Left
11 - Backpeddle (if you don't kite a lot, then change this to sprint)
    12 - Strafe Right

I keep the keyboard numpad right next to the for other controls like opening your menus.

    numpad looks like this:
    / - Opens the settings
    * - Nothing atm
    - - Sheathes weapon
    + - Opens character window.
Then the numbers 1 thru 9 opens inventory, equipment, mail, groups, etc.
    0 - is Jump
    . - is crouch

To fight Molag Bal, just rotate spam Reflective Light/Vampire's Bane and Biting Jabs/Puncturing Sweep. I like having Shielded Assault so I can charge in and get a shield up in between targets. Get used to strafing as you'll be flanking him often, his turn radius is pretty slow so being in melee range has its advantages. Most of his spells are frontal so if you stay near his rear and tail you avoid most of the attacks minus the stuff he does 360 AOE.
