We are talking a level of probability here that would have an almost 0% chance of happening over the history of the entire universe!

To call this just "bad luck" is ignorant in the extreme. It is not "entitlement" issues, it is not bad luck, and it is not RNG. It is a bug in the game that needs to be fixed.

Personally, i only got two kuta's (IIRC) since i got a 3/3 hireling, and that was a long time ago, so i'm not sure about the 2 kutas/week average.

Over three weeks, I kept track of Kutas gained from 3/3 hirelings (of which I had on two toons). First week, I got one. 2nd week, I got 3. 3rd week, I got 2.

Getting zero over months... something wrong there.

I got 2 from my hireling today (i'm level 40 craft) so I can confirm it is dropping.
On my alt doing the same but only level 30 in the craft skill I haven't received 1 yet so maybe it's linked to skill level.

Since my last post one Rekuta, then the next set was two TA and a Rekuta still no Kuta.

I guess there is just a large group having the same exact RNG luck at the same exact time that all started over the same exact period.

I don't usually pay that much attention to what runes the hirelings bring, but I did check last night and I got a Kuta from one of them.

So you guys are saying that an RNG will always cycle through all possible options eventually? And how long is eventually?

There's another thread on this in the Customer Support section. It seems some people have, and others have not. RNG is RNG yes, however they should at least appear at least every so often based on whatever statistics ZOS has set in place. It should be in line with other gold materials or at least close to it. I haven't gotten Kuta since one of the first few emails. Now I do have a supply of course, but that's through barter and finding them in world. I started to count out of all of my hirelings, I'm getting Rekuta about 8 out of 10 times. Not that I'm complaining, that's pretty good. However, where is the Kuta? It's almost like there is something that can block it from appearing. In that time I have gotten countless gold materials from each of my other hirelings on both my maxed out characters and low level 1/3 characters. There is definitely something off.

No we are saying there is a significant group of people that had the RNG cycle many times over giving Kuta that have all seen 0 during the exact same time frame. Getting 20 in a month then 0 in the next two months I would normally think is bad luck, but then when I hear from a lot of other people the exact same thing happened during the exact time period I begin to get suspicious.

I wonder if there is anything common on the people that have seen the steep drop off, it seems like quite a few of us that are getting none have multiple enchanter hirelings. It also seems like the dropoff happened right around when I started sending more hirelings, which should make it less likely to get none. I wonder could multiple hirelings in enchanting have something to do with it?

I used to get Kuta pretty regularly on my two enchanters. One at level 3, one at level 2.

Then I made the mistake of reading this thread a few days ago and I haven't gotten a Kuta since. Is this thread cursed?

Kuta come from hirelings AT ALL?!=P In all the time since early access, enchanting hireling being my first, I've gotten...one Kuta. And that was just a couple of weeks ago, yeah. ONE.

I'm starting to suspect that aspect extraction has something to say regarding aspect quality from hireling.
After the nerf that changed hireling bags from low lvl characters usable by high level character (instead of mats directly in mail), and up until now my hireling 3 enchanter (from 40 to 49 enchanting skill during this period) has not recieved a single Kuta. This period is probably like 3 months. This character has 0 aspect extraction.
I made an alt enchanter about 1 month ago. This character has lvl 32 enchanting, lvl 3 hireling and 3 aspect extraction. I have gotten 4 or 5 Kuta from this character.
Both characters have 4 aspect improvement.

That could make sense I did respec a while back and never put points in to aspect extraction since I'm already leveled and have stacks of Ta already.

That's possible. I had a skill-level 40+ enchanter with max all passives other than keen eye, and he used to get 3-4 Kutas per week. During that period my level skill-level 32 enchanter with 3/3 hireling no skill points in any passive usually didn't even get any aspect rune. So it's possible that aspect extraction affects your chances.

Recently, the amount of Kutas from my 40+ enchanter has been lower than in the past, but I don't know if that's just luck.

I only log in for 2-3 hours a day so I never took hireling past 2 - but I am getting Kuta runes sent once, maybe twice a week, if not more.

I'm still levelling though, I would like to return them a letter and say, "Potency runes are a priority chaps!". But it's "free" stuff so meh.

As to the provisioning useless article he is... I even sacrificed a goat and drank a pitcher of pale lager-beer and not the brown stuff with twigs in! All in hopes of appeasing the RNG gods... but no - they still send me potatoes when I need oats and tomatoes!

You know, there are some books out there on how to win at slot machines. You might be able to apply the techniques therein to your Kuta problem.

Meanwhile, I received my first ever shipment of Kuta this week. By my anecdotal experience Kuta delivery up ∞ %. Better liquidate your stockpiles before the market crashes. Meanwhile, I have yet to receive a single Dreugh Wax ever. Should I assume I'm bugged and submit a report?

You should assume that you are not as clever as you thought you were. There is plenty of evidence to support a theory that something may have changed for some players. During the time I have not received a Kuta I have received probably 50 dreugh wax, 25 tempering alloy and 25 Rosin. Thanks for adding your experience getting a Kuta that is a data point that could help figure out what is going on. The chances that as many players talking about this in game, on reddit and in the customer support forum all claiming the exact issue all during the exact period point to it being likely something has changed since we used to get 20+ a month before.

Seems that this is bugged.

I have registered the yields from my 7 hireling alts for months. I can confirm previous posts that there is nothing wrong! This is not a bug!
I can predict exactly which of my hirelings are able to get Kuta and which have 0% chance. Mail me ingame if you wish further discussion.

Since a few months ago when i was 3/3 on hireling id say I've gotten maybe 15 Kuta in a bout 80+ days. However, i wouldn't say i'm averaging 1 per 5 days because since 1.3 i have yet to get any Kuta. I've questioned moving the 3 sp elsewhere.

Got my first Kuta since this thread started on my alt with level 18 enchanting, 2/3 hireling, 1/3 aspect extraction (someone asked if that was relevant). She can't use Kuta, but she got one.

My main enchanter has aspect improvement topped out and can actually use the Kuta but she doesn't seem to get Kuta any more frequently than the aforementioned alt with 3/4. For me it seems pretty random on any given day which one if either will get a Kuta. Here's the funny thing- the main has a level 3 hireling while the alt's is a level 2.
