Do people really want facial animation and dye more then they want responsive, good combat? I get 2.2 crits from level 16s, mages run the game; I could prob beat my vet 3 DK with my lev 34 sorc. The game just becomes more disappointing as it goes along. Next month NB will be wrecking face and all sorc are going to whine. I'm not seeing a time of balance at least not any time soon. If ZO doesn't have dark brotherhood and thieves guild with justice system and spell crafting, if those things are even going to work out and be fun, which I'm doubting after beta testing this game for these past months, not only are they going to have lost half their pc population and even the most hardcore of all elderscroll lovers, they are gonna do didly with consols. Everyone will be playing destiny. They will read reviews on the game and say Hey I think Ill just wait for the elderscrolls 6. Its almost to the point where me and my horse Pony are ready to jump.

1) Remove having to be in a guild to sell items to other players at a kiosk.
2) Cosmetic modding for armor and clothing.
3) Difficulty slider.
4) Fully customizable player housing that isn't tied to anything in the game other than having the correct resources and enough gold to build. Don't tie it to PvP, guild membership, or anything at all. Oh, make it instanced so as not to take up world map space, too. Zeni screwed this one up already.
Any /one/ of these things implemented would get me spending again, maybe even subbing.1 -

Well that's a huge broad swipe! From your statement I understand that in your opinion mfxdrew is representative of the majority of this forums community? Your words not mine, and if you're correct then ESO may be in trouble.
I think mfxdrew has a point. Gameplay mechanics need to be sorted .. making it pretty can happen after.
I left for the same reasons (without the rage though ;o)) ... dyes came out, my toon looks great, but weapon swapping became worse for me .. and so did the crashes.
I'll wait it out and see if what it's like when the dust settles. Cheers!

I'd like to see the balance issues handled asap but, wish in one hand, put brown stinky stuff in the other and see what fills up first.
I also like those things that add to immersion in the game such as dyes and better facial animations. I believe ZOS has their plan and are sticking to it. I don't know that this type of post brings us any closer to them fixing NB's.
I am upset that I don't feel like playing my V3 NB right now cuz Shadow Cloak is broken as hell, but it give me opportunity to level up my DK and Sorc. I think the Beta-Testers need to chill out. I see more complaining from that segment than any other. The perspective of the game of those that beta tested is skewed.
I really don't understand the process they've engaged in for implementing new content and changes while fixing, patching, balancing, but my impression is they are looking more long term than short.0 -

sooooo. what you are saying is we should get he art team to work on code and systems? Do you honestly think people working on dyes and facial animations are the same people working on the things you described?
Do you think before you post things? Voicing ones opinion in a reasonable manner is much different than using massive hyperbole and threatening to "quit" if ZOS doesn't do what they want. This surely falls under being against the "no demands" portion of the code of conduct.

To be fair the game's classes have been tweaked a lot since early PTS access and beta access. Originally Templars were the most powerful class all around, then they got nerfed into the ground pre-release. I think ZOS doesn't want a repeat of that situation in the live game.

ThisOnePosts✭✭✭✭✭As someone who plays all classes with 2 of them maxed and the other two in the works, this is not my favorite thread on the citadel. I mean really....... c'mon. DKs and Temps have the most survivability head-on IN THE ENTIRE GAME. Sorcs have to rely on their finishers plus crit and NBs have to rely on stealth plus crit.0 -

✭I admit it's getting to me too; there's a lot of glaring flaws that have yet to be addressed in a timely enough manner. I'm not saying they shouldn't add other things in the game but there are priorities in everything and it doesn't feel like ZOS has their priorities where the consumers want them to be.0 -

Not accurate. There were testers on the PTS pre-release for about a years time (maybe more). The feedback from these testers changed many of the game's systems/class balances drastically.

This. Work being done on facial animations and dyes in no way indicates that there is no work being done on the long standing issues that are plaguing ESO. If they had the solutions they would put them in, but since they haven't it would be safe to bet that they are still trying to find the right solution to the problem. I can't stand seeing (not to say that I saw it in the OP) people demanding ZOS to fix something "right now". I feel for mfxdrew's and others frustration and have no qualms with them not wanting to play any more, but to say essentially ZOS is doing nothing about the issues is borderline libelous from my point of view.I do what I can, when I can, to provide in game help to those seeking it. @RoyMallis0 -
