I'd like to see ESO include a Trial that, by design, casual players will win and leet mini-maxers will fail for being too efficient and doing too much damage.

The current trials already provide that.. min/maxers compete with each other for bragging rights on times. Casuals can clear the content with a little bit of practice and not worrying about the time.
If you are asking to make a trial where you don't have to:
a) research a boss fight
b) coordinate a group of like minded people
c) work on getting easy to obtain purple gear and learn a simple dps rotation
then no. This game (and other MMO's for that matter)are already dumbed down enough. Find something else to enjoy like pvp or leveling alts, questing.

I like how you mention pvp like it's easier. Protip: there are no red circles or combat cues in pvp, you actually have to think and not stand still.
All they need to do is make a trial with no limited res letting the Casual guilds progress with out having to reset after three wipes. its really that simple, thats the only thing that makes trials diffcult, is the lame design .I'd like to see ESO include a Trial that, by design, casual players will win and leet mini-maxers will fail for being too efficient and doing too much damage.

While I see your point, don't forget that casual people do not necessarily equal to dumb people or people who cannot play.
