What should I do against tanks as a glass cannon?

Just nothing? Is there something I can do? When someone is blocking with a shield, he's practically invincible.. And when they put their shield down, they can even do a lot of DPS with certain class skills. If they cast a channeled ability, they probably have immovable up so you can't even knock them down or anything.

I need tips for nightblade and sorcerer, thanks :D

Glass cannon builds do not work very well in Cryodiil. I play solo as a stamina NB and have put all my attribute points into health. Either putting all attribute points to health or enchanting all your armor for health is pretty much mandatory in pvp.

It might sound stupid, but I just hit them over and over with melee attacks until they stop blocking, because they always seem to stop blocking. When I notice my attacks doing damage I ramp it up and throw out an ultimate, pop a potion and try to help finish them off.

I decided my job as a nightblade is to hold their attention and annoy them enough until they drop their guard. What happens next is hit or miss, but as long as I can make them stop blocking, I feel like I've won.

Nah, I'm in top 200 of thornblade EU. Not too good, but not too bad, considering I'm leveling another char so I don't play PVP all the time.. As long as you sneak around the zergs and kill the slow members that are almost alone, you can kill anyone that doesn't use sword and shield.
Your problem is the health thing. You probably heard it from someone, but it isn't true at all. Consider that they increased caps too now.. More stamina and more points in stamina = more damage, a glass cannon shouldn't care much about health. My opinion.

Yeah I used to split my attributes between stamina and magicka with a few in health, but since they raised the caps I switched to 49 in stamina and it's working much better. There's no point in having a bunch of health when you can stun a player and kill them before they even get a chance to hit you.

I'm 100% glass cannon. The trick is making sure the cannon is strong enough.

I am a scrub in Nightblade PvP but what I usually do is use the Shadow Image morph: Dark Shades. It spawns 2 shades that attack the target.

After this I use the invisibility, then most players hold block because they are a little bit afraid of my opener, but then I just let my shades deplete their stamina.

Once that is out I apply as much CC as possible and try to hit with Death Stroke (Assass ulti) to reduce their healing and also strain there magica.

Of course this all sounds nice and easy in theory but it's quite hard in practice and I do have a restostaffo switch for heals and stuff. Perhaps if you dont want resto you could use the cleanse morph that heals for sustain with tripots?
