Look, I'm trying to be nice here, but you have just made it painfully obvious that you do not understand a great deal of the basic mechanics of the game.

I don't mind telling you how things work, but I somehow feel that it's simply going to be lost in your haste to refute anything that I might say. In the small chance that you may actually be receptive to it, I'll attempt to at least correct some of your fallacies here.

Make no mistake, there are a great deal of things that I disagree w/ from your post, but I will attempt to keep this simply to inherent misinformation you've stated as it pertains to game mechanics.

    1) There is no class ability that utilizes the stat weapon damage. None. ALL class abilities scale from a combination of spell damage and magicka.

You likely heard that there are some abilities that benefit from melee crit and others that benefit from spell crit, which is true. There is also the distinction in some abilities that go against armor, while others go against spell resistance.

However, there are ZERO class abilities that utilize weapon damage. The stat weapon damage is not even a part of the damage calculation of class abilities, so what you've said is a literal impossibility.

As a general rule of thumb, melee-range spells that feature a weapon in the animation will work off of melee crit, while the others use spell crit. Some examples of this are Killer's Blade which uses melee crit, while Funnel Health uses spell crit.

Here is a link that may help you to understand this better, and also will help you to understand my next point:

    2) Yes, Siphoning Strikes reads as "Weapon and Spell Damage reduced by 22%" at Rank 4. However, because of the way damage is calculated by abilities, you will almost always be using a combination of either spell damage + magicka, or weapon damage + stamina for scaling.

Because of this fact, you are not losing 22% ACTUAL damage, you are losing 22% of one half of the contribution in the damage calculation. For example, a weapon ability is calculated using both weapon damage and max stamina. Siphoning Strikes only lowers the weapon damage portion of the calculation, but does not lower the max stamina portion, which results in only an 11% reduction in ACTUAL damage.

If there were abilities that utilized both Spell Damage and Weapon Damage at the same time, then you would actually be losing the full 22%. Fortunately, there are no abilities that are handled in this manner in the game.

    3) I see you have taken issue w/ one of my replies regarding Shadowy Disguise not granting additional crit while stealthed. There doesn't seem to be any issue w/ Shadowy Disguise granting its crit bonus during combat.

If you are stealthed, however, you are NOT in combat. If you use Shadowy Disguise during combat, you are NOT in stealth, you are Invisible. These two terms, while similar in the fact that enemies cannot see you, are not considered the same state by the game.

At no point was waiting 3 seconds to go into stealth during combat ever discussed, or even mentioned.

    4) It's true that Summon Shade and its morphs aren't the most popular, due to people not realizing how powerful they can be. I like to use Dark Shades personally, as their stamina draining utility helps against opponents who hold down block, which is a bane to most NB abilities. It is most especially useful against the very popular 1h+shield DK, which many NBs have trouble w/.

Here is a video of @Zemez using the Shadow Image morph to great effect. Please note the video is mostly a proof of concept and is made to be both entertaining and to showcase some of the ways abilities like Shadow Image and Dark Cloak can be used.

Anyhow, you can continue attempting to personally attack me if you like, but it won't accomplish anything. As I've already said, I play 2 separate NBs, and if players like yourself continue to ask for buffs to things that are already powerful, it will only buff me in the long run, so I don't mind at all.

I was just trying to help you to see some aspects of the class in a different light and realize that the class itself is pretty powerful, but if you refuse to accept that, that's your choice.
