newb question about guilds in ESO

if i were to join a guild on one character, is it like other mmos where only that character is in the guild or will all my characters automatically be in the guild with that character?

You, the player, join the player based guilds, not your characters. So, all of your characters are in said player based guilds. NPC guilds (Fighter/Mage) are player based.

Guilds are tied to your account, not to a specific character.

It's like GW2, an "other MMO", account wide.

thats good. it eliminates the pain of having to get all my charcters to seperately join the guild. thanks guys.
