Crafting mats? Skill Level? Did I miss the info somewhere?

So did I just miss the part about what we will be using to craft the VR14 mats? Is it going to be an entire new set of mats?

With enchanting I noticed the glyphs that were VR10-14 are now VR10-12 so does that mean new enchanting mats also? Also no mention of what enchanting level you will need to be to make these new glyphs.

I posted this in 2 threads. It's not in there. Looks like they're going to extend the void cloth, void stone, and night wood from VR9-14. Which makes things like silverweave and quicksilver just useless.

Any word on enchanting? The glyphs were 10-14 and were lowered back down as if in preparation for a new mat to be introduced.

I have a bad feeling we will see a new potency rune and will have to get level 50 enchanting to use it.

If they fix the leveling, it won't be too bad. My only problem will really be only being able to get white glyphs to decon. They need to add colored drops on mobs like everything else.

this is exactly why I ground up enchanting to level 50 ^___^
Dear Sister, I do not spread rumors, I create them.

Well they changed enchanting so it will be super easy to level up. Sucks for everyone who actually had to put effort into enchanting to get to 40.

I think super easy is a stretch. They said double the xp from white decon, so that means still thousands to get from 40-50.

But it doesn't change the fact that mobs only drop white glyphs. White glyph deconstruction inspiration is still going to be very low. They need to add colored glyph drops from mobs, or allow getting glyphs from deconstruction of armor and weapons.

I shouldn't be forced into having to craft and trade 100s or 1000s of glyphs with a player just to decon the 100s or 1000s of glyphs that they made to level the skill. The skill should be able to be leveled through normal game play. With only having white glyphs drop from mobs, it's not.

I had friends who were doing enchanting and I was doing provisioning up til VR1. Then those friends decided to quit. So I had to pick up enchanting. I'm half way through VR8 and have not even reached level 20. Even if they double the inspiration gain from whites, that would only put me at level 28. What's needed are colored glyphs for decon. And I shouldn't have to do trade swaps with other players to get them and level up.

So you're saying it should be changed because you are too lazy to level it. That is not a very convincing argument.

Thousands of people maxed enchanting with the old system. No one is forcing you to level it up. There are plenty of enchanters that will make glyphs for you.

It is disheartening to see ZOS constantly catering to the lowest common denominator: the lazy player. This is not WoW, I am sick of seeing anything requires the slightest amount of effort removed and just given to any idiot who can click for 5 minutes.

Actually very few people maxed enchanting, a lot spent a lot of money and mats to get it to 40 which was all it took to make VR12 enchants. I got to level 40 right around when craglorn came out have made countless enchants, most at least purple or gold and broke down everything I have found and I just hit 45. Expect it to take about as much to get from 40-50 as it did 1-40.

Yeah that is a good point. No one really bothers to "max" enchanting since at 40 you can do everything. But there are plenty of people at 40. Hopefully the new VR14 glyphs don't require another potency level.

I wouldn't mind if it was more in line with the other profs. As it is now it is an anomaly. Either make the other profs harder to level or enchanting easier. I don't care about your lowest common denominator drivel to me it is about making them equal.

Woodworking and blacksmithing hit 50 around level character level 45ish-50ish I was deconstructing everything i found in those categories, and had a friend feeding me anything they found. Im now vr 7. leveling enchanting the whole time deconstructing everything found and being feed by another person. My enchanting is 34.
