I agree with this.Actually becoming emperor should be harder so trading is not possible, perhaps having to gain and hold the qualifying keeps for a period of time or something to discourage guilds trading the role.

And some achievement & additional title for top level PvP makes sense, perhaps one for all other skill lines too... But there are the ranks in PvP too to show how much contribution you have made so it might be a little redundant.
No.
Getting the title and costume just because you think its cool is not the way to go.
I don't want Emperor to be the exclusive property of Professional MMO Athletes, Emperor Farmers/Exploiters and the few who have the time to live in Cyrodil 24/7.
For those of us with normal lives and schedules, it would be fantastic to have a means to achieve this.
Skill line is getting removed so who cares? They should create a third alliance skill line for "officers" and reward people according to their rank, maybe put some of the emperor bonuses there.
I think it's normal that people who have done 1000 hours of PVP do more damage on walls than people who just got there but you can't call it "Emperor".

The requirements for Emperor need to be changed. Right now, whoever has the most free time (no life) gets to be emperor. Well, I guess that makes sense. They dedicate their life to ESO, so they deserve that skill line. For the rest of us that work, Emperor isn't an option.
