I call BS.
You're not reading anything, just clicking through any text option presented. You can't have any sense of what any of the story actually is.
You're speed racing from location to location, not spending any time exploring anything.
You're logging more hours in a day playing than people who have full-time jobs.
Nothing about that makes your play 'casual'. Getting to VR12 in 2 weeks exemplifies a whole host of things wrong with this game. I can't see how ZOS justifies supporting a leveling system where this is allowable.

I have to check played hours when I get back home. Probably alot of hours. I play mostly solo or with 1-2 guys. So all small scale.
But they raised the VP/XP/AP several times in cyrodiil. It's around last patch it got better. I did half the level of rank 9 in one day. That would have been impossible earlier.

I keep hearing people talking about "exploring", but what is there to explore in this game? The quests will lead you to every area in the game and you will easily get the exploration achievements by just following the quest path. There is next to nothing that you are going to find by just roaming around and all it does waste time because you'll end up going to those locations anyway.
Personally, I don't care how long it takes someone to level, but I'm not sure how I could have gone much slower. I think some people take longer because they don't have a guild, friends, or people they know to help them with some areas. Spamming zone chat looking for a group every time that you want to do a dungeon or delve can slow things way down.
Thank you for sharing your experience. I respectfully disagree with your exploration observation as it does not align with my experience. I have found many rewards for exploring every tower, behind every ruin, along every beach, island, crag, etc. including quests that one would not find just by following the quest series. I have been teleported to a Mesa by a sorceress in a tower, found messages in bottles, discovered lore, and stumbled upon some majestic scenery along with numerous humorous NPC conversations. Also I tend to find treasure chests like they were weeds.
In the end we all enjoy the game in our own way. Congratulations on reaching veteran rank!
So as the title says, how much did it take for you (yes you!) to reach VR 12? Or if you haven't reached it yet, how much is your /played time and what level are you at right now?
