i am curious to know the various ways that the eso players make money. like whats the most efficient (non long term) way and legit way of establishing a steady income in game. farming seems to take too long and nearly everyone has a guild that can craft for low or even free. so inputs please

Farming raw mats. Alchemists are always on the look out for stacks of reagents. Or you could farm provisioning mats, cooks are also on the look out for things like that. Crafting armour for low-levels for a small sum of money can never go amiss. I personally found my fortune from getting lucky and finding 5 purple motifs and a purple recipe, this is all before drop nerf, and this coupled with PvP rewards, given me a sum of 140k (that is after I've bought 2 horses, a purple motif and the imperial motif)

Questing, and selling crap. I don't even sell stuff on the guild store. I just sell it to an NPC. I have all my crafts maxed so don't really need to deconstruct so just sell whatever I'm not researching. Sell extra materials that I don't need. Seriously don't need 10000 honing stones so I keep about 200 of those and sell the rest. My bank is usually full but my bag stays around 20-30/160 and can always get more items to sell.

    The Guildstores
You farm stuff in the world.
You sell it to other players via guildstore.

Especially Crafting materials (6-12 G per stack part. Try 50 unit stacks instead of 100) and motifs are in demand (most rare 20-40k, Imperial around 80k).

Veteran level purple gear also sells a ton better then pre-vet gear.
Before Veteran you outlevel your gear so fast, actually buying it is not worth it. It's only worth to deconstruct it.
Veteran level gear however does sell quite well (around 5k a pice is a common price for Vet 12 purple).

the thing about farming is its a long term thing to do. prices seem high just about everything and eventually when you have all the quests done there goes that coin source. when the game came out i figured with the crafts ppl would use that as a source but everyone has alts that have max craft so they just make it themselves. if i get a vet character and wanna pvp or something ill need vet lvl potions but stacks of those seem fairly pricey lol. but i appreciate your guys inputs :)
