Hi,

I saw the new page about the closed beta for console and I entered to be part of this beta for console. But I'm not sure when the beta will start. It's a new page (because before it was saying "this page doesn't exist anymore") and I don't know if they will announce something at QuakeCon about that.

If people have some information, it could be helpful :)

    Maybe September for the Open Beta, but now it's the closed beta and the page is hidden. You can only access it if you know the link or search on google... Whatever, I hope to have the closed beta in August. For PC, they had the closed beta in November and the Open Beta was only in April.

    Consoles work very different and from what I gather. The beta will start on PS4. I'm an Xbox One guy so ask PS4 folks.

    More than likely the closed BETA will apply to guilds and certain types of ppl who will test and not leak info.

    The public will hear something 45 days prior to release. Hope that leaked info appears by Sept

    I was so stoked about ESO on PS4 but now after playing on PC for the last couple of months (one of my mates bought it for me) I can not think of one single season to switch over (but many not to)

    Been here since Feb 2014 - You'd think I'd be half reasonable at this game by now...

    I might also register just to try it on my PS 4, I don't plan on switching to that platform, I am just curious :P

    Thanks, I have signed up there at least twice but I will do so again. I intend to switch to console but haven't actually decided which one. I was going with Xbox One but then I saw the trailers about No Man's Sky and it is only announced for PS4 with a TBA for Xbox. That could sway my decision so I signed up for both consoles. I was in the last two beta weekends for ESO do you think that will help?

    You might be able to. Might need some adapters but you should be able to use your monitor with it.

    Have a PS3 and use it for nothing other than watching movies, so could see no good reason for getting a new console.

    Besides, couldn't see playing ESO without a mouse.

    There never was an open beta for console although for the last two testing weekends anyone could have joined so I suppose you could call it an open beta of sorts. The closed testing didn't start in Novemember though. There were one or two weekend tests before that and the alpha testers had been in the game for at least a year prior (I'm not sure exactly when it started).
    I don't always drink Skooma, but when I do I go to the Southwall Corner Club. May you walk on warm sands my friends.

    PS4 doesn't hook to a TV it has HDMI output just like your graphics card and will
    hook to any HDMI computer monitor.
