will do as much good as when we reported folks emperor farming 2 months ago

we specifically told the devs in voice comms and i quote 'you cannot be *** about this - folks are leaving the PvP side in the hundreds because you're not addressing the exploits in a manner that would discourage future repeat behaviour and the le- you will see that several months down the road the decision to reduce down to 5 campaigns might be too many campaigns, because all that you'll have left is a bunch of cheats and exploiters all running around with former emperor titles and nobody to fight against'

lo and behold several months down the road 5 campaigns are too many, and most of the threads/posts about thornblade these days are regarding all the cheats and exploiters who have been squished into 1 campaign

if it isn't addressed soon many of the remaining legit players will have given up entirely

unfortunately i don't see them banning exploiters now - if you took out all the guilds that exploited emperor farming, we wouldn't have enough players left to fill even one campaign

such is the current state of the pvp player base

In case ppl here don't recall, ZOS is still 'working on a fix' for this issue. In 1.3.3 they added guards on the wayshrines as a temporary measure while they 'continue investigating'. >_>

The only bans I've seen have been economy related, like recently with the guy who got banned for passing out free gold earned through an exploit.

contrary to what people might think, i'm not a big fan of banning

most folks who exploit in games are just ordinary fun folks trying to have fun - saw something - poked about a bit with it and discovered how 'accidentally' advantageous it would be to utilize it - it's the 'pssst' to your guildies - 'you'll never guess what i stumbled across today - check this out' - and it's a mix of excited mischief in a competitive environment - nothing more, nothing less

that mischief can be addressed usually in one of two ways

swift fixing of the issue (the better of the two solutions in my opinion)

disciplinary action against the player for continued intentional abuse (starting with a warning to make sure it's understood and not somebody abusing 'accidentally')

neither of these apparently exist in this game and hence we have one campaign filled instead of 10-15 (and for sure other issues like FPS and crashes add their fair share of casualties also)

this game has such fun pvp in the most beautiful PvP environment i have played in when a campaign is 'healthy' - am saddened to see the plane plunging to the ground in a nose dive - hopefully they can pull out of it in time, but the canvas is tearing off the wings

No, it wasn't No Mercy. I even PMed Skorpos to let he/she know what was going on and where the DC camp was. I don't care for my faction using disgusting means like that.

If No Mercy wants a scroll, we have no problem taking it the proper way as we did to AD yesterday. The players name who put the camp behind the EP gates is a known troll.

Try not calling out a guild when the person in question isn't even associated with us, never has been, and never will be.

ZOS is notoriously unresponsive to pvp problems. It's very frustrating. They certainly seem a lot more responsive to the pve crowd.

He also did multiple bug reports. What is he suppose to do? Stop PvPing because ZoS can't fix their game? His bug was not the reason AD got stomped yesterday. Plus he is unbanned now.

I've got the names and the screenies but cant post them. It was a DC DK former emp and like 6 or 7 more. Of course I would "Love" to tell but the offenders hide behind a "shield" of protection like "gnomes" and giggle as they "bubble" with glee.They act like they're "Heros of Tamriel" when they're just cheating "Dog"s. The last offenders name rhymes with Lana.

lol - i once posted a screenie of one of the exploiters meltdowns on me in /tells in game as an example of some of the abuse you get if ya try and stand up to the exploiters

i had the guy's name edited out, his curse words edited out - and I was given a message from a mod that my post had been edited for posting offensive material!

he's still playing btw and calling me nice words like c&^# (rhymes with runt)

so i get the warning and the exploiter still runs around laffing and exploiting - he did one of the 'closed temple gate runs' a few days ago

at this moment in time i'm just resigned to the fact that the inmates are running the assylum
