I do not want more ability slots

But one more slot that only holds potions and has its own keybinding would be awesome. I felt another brand new thread was needed because I feel so strongly about this.

That would:
1) stop me from eating rodent toes to gross out my opponent.
2) help alchemists sell their wares (and provisioners too?)
3) not have one more addon, required
4) quell a large number of posts currently about this
5) award me additional "LOL"s because there's no dislike button
6) not have to double check every 35 minutes if I'm using a potion in the clunky mechanic
7) *this space for rent* - low starting price, bid below;

    When the dollar sign is on the right does that mean I have to give you money?

    Why would you have anything other than potions in your quickslots? You can easily just use food from inventory.

    That said, if we'd like to make things better for alchemists, I'd argue that either:
    1. More quickslots in general
    2. Change how the quickslot works. From the inventory screen, you can place items in all radial directions except bottom, and 1 in center. When in combat (or whenever) when you press the button the radial immediately comes up, with the center option highlighted, moving will, of course, change which option is highlighted. When you let go of the button, the highlighted option is used. Bottom option (where you can't place anything) is cancel. If the user hasn't placed anything in the center slot in the inventory screen, then selecting that slot uses the last used pot. To be honest, I actually assumed that was basically how pots worked. Figured they were just laggy and ineffective when they didn't seem to make much difference. Took a bit of time before I realized I simply wasn't actually using them. Very silly/unintuitive that you have to hold the button to bring up the quick menu, select the item, then press the button again to use it.
