What is it with the consistent SORCS and DKS not taking damage forever. It seems like it's been getting a lot worse watching people taking infinite amounts of damage and never seeing their health bar move as they then turn around and *** in 1 hit. It's getting really bad. Its becoming useless to play anything other then a DK or a sorc. I feel like for this upcoming pvp tournaments and what not this game is eventually going to be full of nothing but DKs and Sorcs. That's it. Maybe it's time to rethink the mechanics and strategy around the classes big time. Go back to basics. Shouldn't be able to tank 1000s upon 1000s of damage as a sorc, teleport away infinitely yet be able to turn around and DPS at the same time for 2k damage. Same with DKs.. hell even Temps.. I can heal and heal and heal and still 2k damage? Just my opinion beat it up if you want I don't care. Most of you all know it just don't want to admit it.

Dimitrie✭well honestly either give a lot more hps in this game or really big time scale down the damage done on all skills. like overload allowing you to use basic skills hitting for 1100 damage each time you use it for the entire duration of overload. it would make mvp a lot better more hps or scale down all the damage0

Overload has been monstrously nerfed. Basic light/heavy hits drain so much more Ult points now that it really is only useful in short bursts. I barely use the light/heavy hits as otherwise I drain too much ult to access the 3rd hotbar, which I'll admit is a cool feature.

✭✭This thread is aimed at sorc and DK in particular but I think all the classes can have great survivability if played correctly. What you might be facing is players who make good use of the block mechanic, which is available for all classes.
Also players who have put a lot of time into making a good PVP build.

Dimitrie✭im a v12 NB I do nothing but pvp. I don't zerg like most so I tend to be in small grps or 1 on 1 type stuff Im not ranked on my server for nothing. I've done my homework I promise you that. My NB build is beast I have videos of all my stuff. and yes the block skill does not work as well on a NB class as it does from what I see with a sorc staffs or a dk and anyone who says otherwise is just full of it.0

✭✭Yeah NB's can't mitigate as much damage as the DK's and sorcs due to a couple of their passive / active abilties.
However NB's make it up in other area's...

If you were to take away some of the survivabilty of the other classes they would end up very underpowered as that's what they are good at. Just keep playing to your strengths and catch people off guard. I think NB's can be pretty damn strong, just in their own way.

Aeratus✭✭✭✭✭I'm a NB caster, and I don't think sorcs and DK are overpowered in Cyrodiil.
I have no trouble with sorcs, partly because I also have a high level sorc and understand how they play. In terms of a straight up ranged fight, I personally prefer NB caster over sorc. Sorc has bolt escape, but NB has cloak.
DKs and Templars can be hard to take down, but they can't sustain forever.1
