At the very least I want to choose to receive it or not. Some guilds I actually care about what people are doing - others (the other 4/5 guilds) I couldn't care less.
They are not a big deal to me, but I can certainly understand wanting the option to turn them off.
V16 Uriel Stormblessed EP Magicka Templar(main)
V16 Derelict Vagabond EP Stamina DK
V16 Redacted Ep Stam Sorc
V16 Insolent EP Magicka Sorc(retired)
V16 Jed I Nyte EP Stamina NB(retired)
Yet another reason for me to be glad I'm not a member of any guilds.
I am not spending a single penny on the game until changes are made to the game that I want to see.
1) Remove having to be in a guild to sell items to other players at a kiosk.
2) Cosmetic modding for armor and clothing.
3) Difficulty slider.
4) Fully customizable player housing that isn't tied to anything in the game other than having the correct resources and enough gold to build. Don't tie it to PvP, guild membership, or anything at all. Oh, make it instanced so as not to take up world map space, too.Zeni screwed this one up already.
Any /one/ of these things implemented would get me spending again, maybe even subbing.
Options to turn different kinds of notifications on/off would be ideal. I don't care to watch trials pop up while my trade guildmates do them repeatedly and if I ever do trials I don't want people to have to see mine either.
Happy All the Holidays To You and Yours!
Remembering better days of less RNG in all the things.

I could not agree more with the OP. If you are in 5 guilds of 500, that's potentially 2,500 individual opportunities for an unwanted, irritating, disruptived spam.
I try to support zos when I can, but this is the kind of little thing that irritates the hell out of me.
This is currently in my top three list of the most annoying things in the game.
I get it, ZOS. You want to constantly tug at my epeen and goad me into joining the leaderboard train. Trouble is, I am a stamina NB. I will always be a stamina NB. It is what I have determined I enjoy the most, after having leveled and tried out everything the class has to offer and is capable of.
Sadly we are not welcome in trials, and while I have the requisite two brain cells it takes to weave light attack and Crippling Grasp and maybe pop an ultimate now and again, I refuse to play in such a way.
Not only is it incredibly boring, but it contributes to the narrow-minded, cheese-oriented robotization of trials, and encourages this exclusive "elitism" that refuses to group with anyone not wearing light armor and a staff, which flies in the face of everything this dynamic and customizable combat system is supposed to represent.
Now, if you ever succeed at balancing stamina builds, I'll be all for switching these obnoxious reminders back on.
In the meantime, please remove me from your mailing list.
I came to the forum searching for the off button I couldn't find anywhere....
I really hope they put in an on/off switch. I too couldn't care less what other people are doing. Great for them (golf clap) but I don't need to be trying to run to a safe spot every few minutes to check notifications. Please make it go away!
If options weren't necessary, and everyone played the same way, no one would use addons. Fix the UI!
heh, just started seeing these the last few days, was going to try to find if there was a way to turn 'em off, but sounds like there may not be. Maybe an addon?
