Help with Templar 2H DPS please

G'day guys,

To start with I know that I'm gimped from the get go being both a Templar and using 2H but I'm just wondering what DPS I can pull if I use the right rotation.
At the moment I'm struggling to maintain 400 DPS, I use 5 Hundings Rage and 3 Ashen grip medium. Also I'm VR7

Edit: I should also add that I am looking for sustained boss DPS.

Are you using Blazing Spear and Solar Barrage in your rotation?
Throw Blazing Spear, charge in, trigger Solar Barrage once, then use your 2H skills

Blazing Spear damage is low, but its for triggering Burning Light passive and that is a lot of free dps

Solar Barrage makes the next attack bigger, and triggers Illuminate passive

If your going to be in melee range anyway, do you spam Biting Jabs or Puncturing Sweep?

There is no such thing as Templar 2h and DPS. It's a myth.

ZOS is aware of low dps from 2h abilities and stated that they will be buffing its damage in the near future. Have fun and keep rockin ur big 2h, it will catch up soon.

I plan to :-) just seeing if I can maximize what I'm working with at the moment.

The general advice, regardless of your weapon choice, is to use biting jabs and blazing spear to proc burning light. If you want to max dot DPs, use a battleaxe with degeneration and Carve. Burst DPs should use great sword with executioner and solar barrage. Inner light and shadow silk can be used with either.
