I think its a horse glitch

Sometimes when I am riding my horse and I hit the shift key to spur it on a little faster the horse will go into what I call Nascar mode. Meaning it not only picks up speed but it runs so fast it is hard to control. A good example is I ran from the south tip of Auridon to the northern end in about a min......

Has anyone else had y=this happen? What causes it?

I would like to add that I have no clue what makes it happen aside from tapping the shift key and holding it for an extra speed burst, aside from that it doesn't happen often and it has happened in multiple locations. I also have no clue what other variables may be effecting this behavior.

If anyone does find out what causes this... Please tell me so that I can use my horse to mega-jump into the Imperial City.

Wow, that sounds interesting. Think you could catch a video of that? :D

I've never had that happen, personally. Quite the opposite, actually...hit the shift key (with a full stamina bar) and...nothing. No sound by my character and no speed boost by my horse. Of course, that could be a delay between my keyboard and the game interface, so I'm not overly concerned...and I can always just take my finger off the key and hit it again and it usually works the second time.

What you describe, though, that could be disconcerting.

You probably could, I have cliff jumped off the upper landing in daggerfall by the stables and hit the waterwhich is a pretty good leap

I have tried to video capture it but I have yet to catch it, as it is it seems to be a completely random occurrence.
