Add a dungeon overview to the official website.

Can anyone tell me why there isn't a dungeon overview of the dungeons in The Elder Scrolls Online on this website? Wouldn't it be a nice addition to the site to let people see what they can expect? Maybe a little backstory, overview of the bosses or maps of the dungeons would be nice I think.

Spoilers? I can't see ZOS making a set of pages which is solely designed to spoil the story and boss fights of the dungeons they spent ages designing.

Do many other MMO sites do this?

If you're a new player, there's no telling from this website that there are classes or dungeons in the game. But hey, people can search for them online so why is there even a website right? Let's just have the forums. The rest people can figure out for themselves.

A little info for new players on classes and other parts of the game would be nice, but that wasn't your original point - specifically for dungeons I can see why they wouldn't put anything up about them

You mean that it's a good thing to keep information about your game behind so people will come running and play it? What's wrong with an overview of the dungeons and a little backstory? Nothing. Get of your high horse.

Calm down, I have a different opinion than you and you're going to have to accept that
I don't know how I'm on a "high horse" - suggesting I consider myself morally superior in some way, which does not relate to anything I have said - I merely don't see why they should leak the details of their dungeons when one of the key themes in elder scrolls is exploration, find out for yourself

If you want to ruin it for yourself, youtube is there.

Lol. Why would a little overview 'ruin' a dungeon? Maybe when you think about my suggestion a little more you would come to the conclusion that an addition like this to the website might actually lure in some new players. It's like selling cars on a website and don't telling the customers anything about the things that are under the hood. 'let them find out for themselves. Let's not ruin the car for the customer'.

I can agree with ideas to bring in new players. Focus it on a new section about some of the skill lines, then you can include races, classes, armour lines, weapon lines, AvA lines, and NPC Guild lines. Within the section about NPC Guilds, there would be a bit about the Undaunted, and perhaps in there you could put a bit about each dungeon, in a similar way to how the Undaunted give you snippets about the dungeon when you talk to them in the tavern.

No boss details or maps though. Spoilers!

As others have mentioned, a dungeon/storyline section isn't a bad idea. I don't particularly care one way or the other, but there's nothing wrong with it.

Providing players with a preview of boss abilities and/or actual dungeon content: not so much a good idea. The dungeons in this game actually have incredibly well-crafted stories, and I'd like to encourage players to actually engage in those rather than burn through a dungeon because they already know what's coming.

You seem to take other people disagreeing with you very personally.

I don't want them revealing info about dungeons, especially things like boss locations. That's for us to discover in game, and I can't think of any other mmo that does that.

It's hidden a bit on this website, but I was thinking something like they did with Craglorn:

    http://www.elderscrollsonline.com/en-gb/game-guide/adventure-zones/craglorn

Doesn't spoil a whole lot, but makes me enthousiastic about the content. So far I've played through almost all the dungeons up to level 45, but because it's mostly kick and rush pugs that don't read anything I have zero background information about the dungeons I've been too. Maybe I'll run them solo when I'm VR12 though.

I thought that may be your basis. I would like to see something like this for the Fighters Guild storyline, the Mages Guild storyline, and the Undaunted (which would include a bit of dungeon info).
