Has Lag gotten worse since the 1.3.4 update, or is it just me?

The reason I am asking is that I have a 28/5 Mps Down and upload speed. I had Comcast test my line and everything is to specifications. My router is a Netgear Nighthawk R7000. QOS and traffic metering have been turned off from the inital setup, and my router log shows that none of my wireless devices are interfering during the times that I play. I don't experience any lag in any of the other 1st person shooter games I play, like Teamfortress, Counterstrike, and etc.

I am experiencing severe lag every day now since patch 1.2.5 while playing PVE. I haven't played PVP since patch 1.2.5. The lag gets so bad at times, I occasionally get teleported back 10 meters from where I originally started running, or when I use Crystal Shards, the shards just stop and my character freezes for several seconds.

Some of the players are also giving me grief, because it looks to them like I am just standing around while they get pounded.

Anyone else having this issue?

Don't know about lag...The world seems to be loading faster again and looks better, but I suspect that has a lot to do with my finally updating my gpu drivers when I started back yesterday after being gone a week. Lol

But the regular crashes are back for the first time since the first month and more often it seems. Memory leak?

I'm crashing ALOT in Cyrodiil, PvE is fine, hardly any lag. Random freezes though, thinking from server.

Not just you. Freezes and abilities that fail to register in Cyrodiil are common, along with rubber banding and crashes.

A lot of us started having serious crashing problems after the 1.3.3 update. For reasons unknown, some people didn't see it until 1.3.4. The lag could be related, or another problem entirely. On my end I don't really get any lag at all until my game client starts to approach that RAM limit that means a crash is incoming. Usually, this is my signal to close the game and relaunch it. I still occasionally get fps drops, especially in areas where there are a lot of players or any intense lighting effects, but this is not so much lag as it is just lowish fps (25-35 range).

In any case, they're actually hotfixing the memory leak problem tomorrow morning, per a ZOS comment in another thread.

Not sure if this will solve your issue or not, since the two aren't necessarily related. Lag can be caused by numerous things. It should be asked, are you on the NA or EU sever? I believe that the EU server has been having more lag issues since they moved it a couple weeks ago. There's a sticky thread on it in the Customer Support sub forum.

Same here, PvP all good but Cyrodiil is terrible for lag

I played last night after downloading the patch, it did seem a bit clunkier than usual. Wasn't having any problems after 1.3.3 though.

Yes, I have the same problem since the last patch. Often times I start my attack on some NPC and everything freezes for several seconds... I can't loot things, and half of the times I can't talk to NPCs

The game for me is pretty much unplayable, and that's why I am here in the forums instead of playing. Just too frustrating. If this is not solved anytime soon I may consider withdrawing my subscription.

I'm still experiencing severe lag occasionally which is causing me to lose sync. Just played today and I was getting 1 FPS just running around harvesting. Later when I was fighting the final boss in the last Stormhaven quest, as soon as I used streak to pass through the boss, I could no longer activate any weapons or spells and my movement was really slow; there was no indication this was from a spell or something, but as soon as I hit the ESC key twice everything returned to normal. Between the lag and the sync issues I'm about to call it quits. If this crap doesn't get fixed soon, I most likely will cancel my subscription in the next month or so. I had no issues up to and including 1.2.5.
