Faction quest markers: A possible change

The problem:
With the current changes to 1-50 PVP I have found that to stay in area's that are my level I need to skip many quests. Because of the structure of the leveling process this can be fairly frustrating as many quests simply can not be missed.

Edit: Basically it is very easy to loose the faction quests and there is no real indication of where they can be found again without picking up multiple quests.

The solution:
Could we perhaps have some form of indication of the critical quests. This could come in the form of a gold quest marker or a different symbol.

Dose anyone else have this problem? Even before the PVP changes I sometimes struggled to keep my level down due to my do everything attitude.

Don't know about PvP, but in PvE, you can just go back and do the quests at some other time. If your over leveled by 5, you get no experience for the kills, but you do get the quest exp when you complete it. If this is the case in PvP, then you can even preserve your levels this way.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

PakKat "Everything was going well, until I died"
Gary Gravestink "I am glad you died, I needed the help"

I don't think I explained myself well, What I mean is it can be frustrating simply finding the right quests in order not to gain the experience from quests that are not needed to move on in the game, basically I want the faction quest lines to be marked/highlighted, because they are easy to loose and without looking at guides hard to find.

What we need is something along the lines of Cadwell's Almanac for the 1-50 zones (not the stupid requirements, just the list) that shows which the objectives are that matter most to the Faction Story. Call them "Critical".

Zone quests can really be split into 5 categories:
    • Location Quests that are part of the Story, and are "Critical".
    • Location Quests that are part of the Story, and are not "Critical".
    • Location Quests that are not part of the Story.
    • Signpost Quests that take you from one Story Quest to the next.
    • Wilderness Quests that are not part of a Location Objective.

The problem with having a different marker identification for the Critical quests is that you would then miss out some of the Story quests. The problem with having a different marker for the Story quests is that it also includes quests that aren't Critical. If you tried to split it into both, you would end up with all different colour markers that would look really daft.

Implementing it as a list of location names under "Quest Almanac" would be consistent with the presentation and functionality of Cadwell's Almanac, and can be incorporated into that once it is unlocked at Level 50 as "Bronze".

In the meantime though @Tannakaobi, check out UESP's quest lists. While not yet fully complete, quests are listed by zone and we are in the process of documenting whether or not they're part of the Faction questline.
Daggerfall Covenant's quests are identified up to Bangkorai, and while EP and AD storylines are only detailed up to Deshaan and Grahtwood, the Cadwell's Almanac for those is complete (beware spoilers), which lists the locations deemed Critical.

That's pretty much what I've been doing, but I prefer to keep things in game really. It's actually the late AD quest line that I'm doing atm. I lost the thread just before entering Reapers March. I shall find it easy enough (in fact I already have), but it's just the time it takes. It's miniscule but still annoying.
