@Zenimax - What's happening with the PTS guys?

You got a perfectly good PTS, which I'm sure isn't exactly free to run and it's doing nothing ! Surely you're not trying to tell us there is currently nothing that needs testing ?
Get the next build up on there, hell get even half a build on there and let us do what PTS users are supposed to do.... help look for bugs/glitches in new content !

Anyway it's about time. Hopefully they will also implement a lost of fixes for the long list of issues we got with 1.3 ?

If it's really doing nothing, it is literally free to run. It's probably just idle virtual machines or idle processes on the exact same server hardware. And because you need an active account to play on the PTS, it's not using up any extra bandwidth. A possible exception would be EU players using up some US bandwidth, but with the small amount of players on the PTS, I don't think that's a problem.

PTS staying up also means you can be leveling and getting achievements/abilities unlocked for future testing instead of relying on a fresh reroll.

they need to just provide those, you shouldn't have to grind in pts to test things for them.

If I want to play the game I will play the live server

Most MMOs with a PTS shut it down for weeks/months at a time, so just be grateful they keep the environment open after a patch goes live.

Big deal, kinda pointless keeping it open after the current build goes live anyway. The PTS is there for testing and lets face it with the current/past standard of updates that have gone live they need to have more testing time !
A closed (or out of date) PTS is just a waste of time.

And still the PTS lies dormant ! Really? we are apparently getting 1.4 sometime in Sept and with Zenimax's poor record for releasing stable content (after the last 3 updates) you'd think they would get stuff up on PTS so it can get some proper testing ! ?

I guess they will do the usual and put it on PTS a couple of weeks before the release date. Expecting it to be tested, fixed, retested and released in time. Because that approach has worked great so far... right ?
