Is there any way to keep up with Nightblade's Melee DPS as any of the other classes?

I was asking because I got to thinking about Haste, and with it, 5 piece Med Armor, and a Weighted weapon you can cut down your attack speed by more than half!!!

With all the ways to add weapon damage on top of that it seems an unfair advantage.

That is unless Im missing something.

P.S. I'm only asking about Melee DPS i.e. Stam based stuff, and normal/heavy attacks.

Thanks ahead of time for your answers.

Light and heavy attack speed in melee is quite useless. The only reasons someone would use that skill is for 1. The stamina regeneration on the morph or 2. The heavy attack bonus on the other morph which is beastly nice for bows
Banned for Naming and Shaming exploiters. Great ideology ZOS.

Depends on your scenario, in PvP, DK will just hold block and laugh at you, sorc will bolt escape to a distant than crystal you down and kill you, Temp will just blazing shield you and heal when necessary and other NB...well they will either kill you first from stealth, using a range wep and hiding behind DKs or using board and sword like the DKs and mitigating all your damage to almost zero.

PvE, unless you can consistently pull 800 dps with just basic attacks it is really not worth it in trials and vet dungeons as there is a reason staff and Light armor are the way to go. For normal solo dungeons, quests and PUGs, I suppose it is somewhat viable but you will be in for a harder time as I assume you will be using stuff like bow and daggers since you are in med armor.

In this game you use Melee to keep your self occupied until your Mana pool recharges. Hopefully you can keep your opponent off balance or stunned during this time.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

pve or pvp? In pve its actually siphoning that makes the nightblade awesome because he can sustain his dps. In pvp, i have noticed Nb's are deliver explosive damage and the only way i can counter that as a templer is to immediately use blazing shield+cleanse+heal then return the favor.
