ZoS - Barrier doesnt have an AoE cap. Why?

Because all Alliance War abilities don't have caps. Rapid Maneuvers doesn't, Caltrops doesn't, Purge doesn't, none of them do. It's what makes them awesome.

Alliance war skills do have caps. Caltrops is 12, barrier is 28 or something like that. It's 20+ at least. Rapid is 18 or around there. There is a post I read just the other day stating the actual numbers from zos themselves but I cbf to look now.

Damage shield stacking is just as broken and endemic of the whole impulse spam issue.

IMO they make Barrier self-only. After they nerf the bejeezus out of it.

imo, making dimishing returns on stacking damage shields is the best way to go about this all. Nothing is worse when you dps a sorc down and they just swap bars, put up a couple shields that ad up to like 1.5k.

idk think ive seen my caltrops hit more than 12 at a time, which would make sense. It does have a limit on how much ultimate you can get from it in its duration tho, 30 I think. Tis how all AOE should function rather than have a target cap...

it makes your enemy hard to kill, but it also makes your group hard to kill. it is very difficult to storm a defended keep without things like barrier. its Alliance War ability and all of them should be able to affect the max group size

now they fixed that barrier is stackable. this should at least lessen the QQ of randoms about how hard and unfair that they cant kill organized groups with them soloing/being in a clueless group of bads.

like the attitude of this guy. he must be a "real pro gamer, should listen to him".

"-nerf barrier as it is available with suport lvl 6, which is sooo hard to get. also elitist trialrunners use it too, another reason to nerf!!!!
